I think we missed Osgood the most tonight and VJ a close 2nd. Osgood would have downed at least two of Scifres touchbacks inside the 5 yds line

Cromartie made a bad ass interception this week. Watch the Jets highlights. I don't miss him at all, but it was cool to see him do that.

Osgood. Legs had over 100 yards, Floyd did decent the few times we went to him. WR play wasn't our issue. ST's was. In the first half, they gave up 1 TD directly and another TD by giving the Chiefs good field position. In the second half, they failed to take advantage of two awesome punts. If they down those punts, the Chiefs are backed up deep, our defense owns them, and our offense gets the ball back with good field position. We faced long fields throughout the second half. If we didn't, we'd have put up a lot more points.

Osgood was definitely missed as well as Big Mac. I would have to put VJ on top though because it makes it easier to take away Gates without him on the field. Being that our pass game still seems to be our first priority, I would have to put VJ on top. All three were missed though.

I gotta go with McNeill here. Clary is not impressing me at RT. If we had McNeill back we could move Dombrowski to RT which might help.

Of course, it might not much matter who plays RT if Norv is going to call draw plays to Sproles every time we have a key situation.

I voted VJack. Would of scored the TD last night if he was there. Teams are not going to respect any of our receivers BUT Gates. Which is why he was getting triple teamed on plays.

Yeah but he also had like what? 3 PI's against him that let the Ravens continue drives?

VJ's drunk DUI ass would have been sitting on the couch last night serving his league 3 game suspension. He shouldn't even be on the poll.

McNeil was missed, but then who knows if they would have benched that turnstile Clary and put Dombrowski at RT. Dombrowski did well playing LT.

ST sucked big time last night. Osgood would have made the most difference out off all the choices.

I said it last night, my scapegoats for the game are special teams, Ryan Mathews and Mother Nature. Special teams just kept shooting us in the foot all night though.

True. But it's all the more reason to make a deal with him and sign VJ now, so he can sit out those first 3 games. I think we're really going to need him to make the comeback when we're 1-4 at the beginning of this season.

People say this loss isn't a big deal, but it is. It's against a divisional rival, and it set the tone for the beginning of this season. How many times in the past few years have we started off the season slow, and then all the talk is about how Norv isn't a good coach, he can't lead the team and inspire confidence in the locker room, he doesn't discipline his players like Marty did...blah blah blah...remember all that crap? I sure as hell do. And this is how it all starts. The seeds have been sown.

Sign VJ and McNeill.

Vj is gone for 6 even if he signs with the chargers. Game 1-3 for the DUI and then another 3 starting after he signed. Even if he signed tomorrow he would not be on the field until game 7.

Marty was a career playoff looser. No way I want him back. We need a young fire eater like Gruden to come in and kick some ass.

Wow you all must have had a different view from your TV sets. I was there it was hellish torrential rain most of the game. When it wasnt raining we actualy scored. PR had a prety damn good game aside from alot of low thrown balls that receivers had to dig for to no sucsess.

I went into this game saying what we needed to do was play well on STs and hoped to see a passrush from the OLBs. I beleive Phillips got a sack. SO taht is something I was happy to see. I also said we needed to pound the ball and we tryed. KC D was all over the run, didnt help the fact that run after run was strait up the gut. I ddint see enuff runs even get to that point where theycould have been bounced outside.

Kicking in this game was horrible, tho we had more better punts than KC. It was shitty seeing that 1 yd pin come back b/c his foot was on the line. ;/ KCs first punt was very questionalbe. The were on the 30 and had perfect chance to make a FG, but elected to punt and the ball sails off Colquets foot and ended up with about a 9 yd punt.

We hung in this game also like I said this game was gonna be a final score decided by a single score. 4 times inside the 10 and we cant even get taht TD.... I heard alot from KC fans about PR could have run that in, but when I was watchin highlights of the last 4 plays it was clear he would never have made it even on the 3rd and 4. I jus dont kno why we had to try the same exact play twice in a row.

ok and to keep it real KCs D was there for the game. We still passed on em pretty ez. I loved that blown coverage from Berry and Flowers that let LEGS get a EZ TD. LOVE IT was sittin on that endzone side. Swear Legs heard me hollerin and looked up...

For a first ever stadium experience I have to say it was still great. Rain L and all. Also in PRs presser he really sounded like how I felt as the clock was expireing and the chance for OT was looming. I really didnt wanna be there any longer it was COLD and we were all Soaked to the nuts. I dont think we were as INTO winning as we should have been. But seriously how can you even think 1-4 with the cream puff opponents we have commin up?? I think more like 4-1. Also gotta give props to KC fans they were not as obnoxious as I was expecting with all the all day tailgating/drinking we did. Love all you SD fans I saw/met that came all the way out of Cali for the game.

OYEa how bout that KC passing game what was it like 60 yds/??? I knew our secondary was improving.

We deffinatly lost this game on ST play. But i doubt it would have been any different if KO was there. KC has one of the best STs players.

I deffinatly dont think its time to throw in the towel this early.

O and deffinatly crowd noise got us more than it should. BUT I saw us get quicker to keep ahead of the clock. We started lining up with 17 secs left on game clock to counter the crowd noise throwin off the snap count. Also I noticed myself the decibel level was goin down as the game progressed. Was hella loud at the start befor ppls voices were goin out.

On a side note do all stadium crowds beat on the seats to generate more noise??? I was under the impression that crowd noise should be comming from the vocal cords and not pounding on seats.... Course this is prob the standard practice in all stadiums.

I need to check stats on this game, havent realy got a chance and I cant get this game out of my head, might jus be the fact I was actualy in the same building as my TEAM vs sittin at home. Wish I could make it to the STL game.

I thought the players association was going to overturn that decision?

Only if VJ is TRADED to another team.

When we put VJ on the Roster Exempt List, he would not be eligible to report until after the 3rd game AFTER he signs his tender.

Some thought (the NFL Mgt.) this suspension would carry over to another team. This confusion whether VJ's 3 games roster suspension for being placed on the exempt list conveys to the new team will be ruled on by a Special Master (an NFL labor law attorney) on the 16th of this month.
