Here's mine:

In the first 25 minutes of the 2nd half last night (when the starters were playing), the Raiders offense had -3 yards of offense. :icon_shrug: :icon_huh:   :icon_banana: :icon_rofl: :icon_toast: :icon_party: :icon_party:

Before the Raiders started their final drive that ended with the clock expiring, they had a grand total of 66 yards of total offense.

They got 63 yards on that final drive to wind up with 129 in total offense.

Nearly HALF of the Raiders total offense came in the waning minutes of the 4th quarter.

The big BAGEL in a sold out Coliseum on MNF is the best, imo.

Also, after halftime the Raiders had 45 yards total offense and Vermiel pointed out that LT had more on one run.

I don't know if I can ever find out, but my favorite stat would be to find out how many faider fans walked out of the stadium and turned their tv's off in tears.

The Broncos have done worse to us than we did to Raiders.. anyone remember the game where we had like -10 yards at half time?

I like the Merriman 3 sacks stat...

Where are all the hater biatches that said, "McCree can't be good. He's been on 4 teams in 5 years. The dude was a beast. He and Kiel were responsible for setting the tone in this game.

It took McCree all of six plays to let his presence be felt. He decapitated Courtney Anderson. Then, two plays later, he broke on a ball and nearly picked Erin "My vagina hasn't been this sore since Fleet Week" Brooks.

Thats a fact. It's not that we lost, it's how we lost. Did anyone here see how they would celebrate after a sack. Dancing their littlt ******y dance, touching their ass pointing it in the direction of the hole???????

We stood their like guttless fish, taking it. If i were out there, i'd a tore those ****s helmets off and bashed em in their ****ing grilles.

Nope we stood their and took the abuse.

No ****ing way ANY ANY ANY Raider team of the 60's, 70's, 80's, would have put up with that shit.

Art can talk tough, players can talk tough, but if you don't back it the **** up, means only that, Talk.

New era, gonna be tough, can't come in our back yard and win, bringin back the nasty.

Spare me.

And this is for our weak as shit players.............

Grow some ****ing balls.

ThunderBolts just posted this shit WTF ?

http://www.raiderforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=12957&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20

As a Chargers fan, I have to look at this in reverse. If the Raiders were winning 27-0 in San Diego (first game of the season) and we were in FG range, the fan inside of me says "kick the freaking field goal!" And I say that for two reasons:

1) I don't want to see my team shut out.
2) I don't want Raiders fans to have the satisfaction of a shutout.

But the business/coaching side of me says, "the Chargers are going to do this the right way or not do it at all."

Most people know that in order to make a change you have to first hit rock bottom. I think by letting the Raiders hit rock bottom (by going for the harder TD versus a simple FG), it is going to make the team really rethink a lot of things and the players are going to refocus and be more passionate. The Raiders don't want to be embarassed like that again (and a shutout is much more embarassing than 27-3). So as a result they are going to play with more drive, passion, and want.

The Raiders had a bad start, but you don't have a bad team. We've seen other teams have similar starts in the past only to go on and hit the playoffs.

Someone here said, Marty would have kicked the FG... I'm not sure that he would have. I think he would have made the Chargers go for the more respectful seven or feel the humiliation of the shutout to hit that "rock bottom" area. But, then again, it is Marty and he may have taken the sissy way out (just like he always runs, scared to death to pass). Which would you rather have - a team that hit rock bottom in the first game, but did so trying to pass/win, or one that plays boring MartyBall game after game, losing close ones and never making it to the big game? Trust me, many Chargers fans are frustrated too.

I know there's this big Chargers/Raiders rivalry, but I also know that there's fans respectful of others. And from my honest viewpoint, the Raiders will recover from this and be a much better team as a result. Good luck this season - ThunderBolt.
