There is a show on Netflix which I highly recommend (if you like Vikings)...

It is Last kingdom, a story about when the Vikings were invading England and pushed down to Wessex prior to getting pushed back.

Five thumbs way up, but the books are of course better than the show... But isn't that always the case?

Looks interesting!

Ok not sure if anyone has recommended the Snowpiercer series, but after watching the movie an not reading the books, this series has been very intriguing and along the lines of a month in the life of a train occupant.

Finishing off episode 5 now before bed.

Been watching Ted Lasso lately. It's a nice little sitcom with Jason Sudeikis set in UK. An American Division II College Football coach is brought in to manage a Premier League football/soccer team in England. It's on Apple TV+, but I'm sure you can find a free stream online.

It was funny when the concept of relegation came up, and the American coach had no idea what it was...Honestly, at this point, I believe that adding tiers and introducing relegation is what can save the NFL...If it needs saving at all!

Recently watched "Come From Away"....Highly recommend it.

Without giving much away, it's a filmed stage production of a Canadian musical by Irene Sankoff and David Hein was first produced at Sheridan College close to Toronto in 2013, and apparently broke records at the La Jolla Playhouse in 2015. It's based on the 38 flights and 7000 passengers that were diverted to Gander International Airport in Newfoundland on Sept. 11... Gander is a city of less than 10,000 people!

At one of the worst moments in American history, I'll never forget about that story of the of the citizens of Gander taking in all of the American citizens and people from around the world who were grounded. One of the few things that gave me hope at that difficult time.

I'll check it out!

Anybody watch the first episode of the Laker mini-series on HBO called “Winning Time”? I thoroughly enjoyed it, John C Reilley was excellent as Dr. Jerry Buss. The funniest thing about the episode was their portrayal of Jerry West, they made him out to be a complete raving lunatic, it was almost like watching a live version of Yosemite Sam. Was he really that crazy?
