Just a heads up, but BoltTalk.com will be upgrading to the latest version of XenForo (1.2) on Sunday at 10pm PST.

The site should only be down for about 30 minutes, but it will look "funky" for a couple hours while I fix up style and plug-in issues.

The upgrade to the core forum software is complete. However, there a few more style changes that I will be finishing by tomorrow night.

Report any issues here.

Took me 10 minutes to realize why I couldnt post earlier and it kept saying "You must sign in to post" ............... even though I was signed in.

Well I guess I'd been idle during the update process and had no idea it was going on, so the old system was still showing.

Wasnt till I resigned in that I seen the changes ......

Is there anything major thats different Rob, other than the look ???

Not much new beyond that really. The behind the scenes functionality is the real improvement. I will be finishing up the new layout today which includes the podcast page.

Ah, yes. That would/could cause an issue. I just disabled the old style and forced users into the new look and feel. Again, this is a work in progress. So, I have a few more things to do before I consider it done. Let me know if you run into any other problems or if you have a suggestion.

one guy's posts are saying how good a receiver Meachem was in HIGH SCHOOL...
should I try it in Firefox?

maybe you should see if we can get Rob to use the Ol' CMB game day thread backdrop with our Piggy mascot involved ???? :D

Why is it I have yet to see our N&N thread ever show up on it ????

Not bad, deffinatly missing something blue and gold. Rob can we consider a site wide week long *or so* vote on what the background image will pertain to for the year? We could also make this voting a yearly off season tradition. It wouldnt be too hard to establish parameters for the criteria of a pic type like Stadium backdrop, or favorite player photos *action or stills* eh could be fun. I prob wont make the voting in time unless it is a week long period for members to log in and pick a favorite of say fan proposed *and voted on* favorites for each category we can come up with.

Ok, not sure if its just my comp im logged in from, but I dont like how my name is gettin cut off by the Online activty awareness indicator. I mean Thunderhors isnt the worst speling variant I could imagine from my acct name lol.

I have been looking at stadium images to fade in the background but if you guys want to search for the background image then go for it. I am totally up for a vote. :)
