Stephen Jackson is going to the pro bowl this year.
No doubt. He carved up the Colts' run defense.

Although the FOX announcers were saying that the Colts defense was banged up going into the preseason.

Colts center Saturday got beaten bad on a bull rush on the first play of the game. He's the most overrated OL in the NFL right now. The Bolts and Steelers toasted him BAD last year.

Hardwick passes him up and makes the Pro Bowl this season.

I think the theme for the Colts opponents this season will be to run it a lot against them.

This will limit Peyton's playing time some now won't it? :icon_wink:

Rams might be good if their running game carries over into the regular season.

That backup Colts center sucks. He just got pushed back like 4 yards on that shotgun formation play.
I am not so sure that the Colts can duplicate their success they had last year. The Chargers showed the league that you hit them in the mouth, and not fear them you can win.

But Paid-a-ton is a hell of a QB so we shall have to see.

The media focuses on the dearth of quality backup QB's in the NFL, but even more appalling is the horrible OL play after the starting units.

Yeah, the horrible OL play sometimes leads people to watch the horrible backup QBs. :)

Definitely. Teams will be using Wade's gameplan as a blueprint.

That's typical of most finesse passing offenses, match up a good smashmouth defense against them, and bump the WR at the LOS to throw off their timing and they typically crumble.

I think Peyton has at most two more years to get to the promised land, otherwise the window will slam shut.

That's why backup QB's need at least a series or two with the starting OL. Making judgements on them while running for their lives is damn near impossible.

I think he will be like Elway, only get to the Lombardi before retiring.

Peyton will never get to the promised land. He chokes in the big game. Always has, always will.

Well, Kellen 'soldja' Winslow sure looked good tonight.

He tripped over his own feet and fell down just as the Browns QB (Frye I think) threw it to him.
I had not Laughed so hard in a while that I had to clean off my TV because I sprayed soda all over it when I saw that play and it gave me a side ache to boot.

That is absolutely correct that Peyton will never hold high the Lombardi because you could give him the best in every category of WR'S including TE, Offensive Linemen and RB FB combo and he still would not be able to get it done period.

For example last year when we played the Colts in the Goal line stand that Merriman tackled Manning for the loss on a 4th down play in that play he saw the coverage and tried to audible it out of the original play but could not get the new play to develope the results he wanted because the it factor is not there for him to get him over the hump and Peytons leadership is a question mark and if he had that it factor he would have had the new play initiated and executed then 6 points would be on the scoreboard and they could have been 14-0 instead of 13-1 at the end of that day.

On that day it also proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Peyton Manning will not ever get it done.

You should have just gotten a setup with NFL Network. NFL Network is showing most of the preseason games, including the Saints ones, so you can get your Drew and Reggie fix.

BTW, Drew will only play the first quarter, so, he'll be good for about 40 yards, and Reggie will be good for another 60.
