Tony Hawk

Daygo skateboard legend Tony Hawk was one of the masked singers. I don't care about that, but it is cool to be reminded we have had at least one San Diego sports champion. Unlike for Tom Brady, the hype surrounding Hawk as the GOAT is completely deserving.

I think he was.... it's been since that documentary came out that I watched it.

I grew up thinking Kelly Slater, surfing legend, was a hometown boy, but I found out years later he was from Florida. The only Slater we had was Slater from that 80s or 90s high school TV show that I forget the name of.

At least we got Hawk.

Saved by the Bell. The theme song was better than the show. I didn't watch it much but a few times I've seen it in reruns, and holy shit that cell phone the rich kid Zack had lol. I believe it was called a mobile phone, which in Europe they still call cell phones a mobile.
