Compound fracture of the lower leg with a shattered ankle. He’ll be lucky if he survives this ordeal without losing a leg.

I was never a Tiger Woods fan when he was younger and winning everything. Somehow that changed after he went through his trials and tribulations. I was truly happy for him when he won The Masters a couple of years ago. I don't want to speculate, but it looks like chronic pain -something I unfortunately know about all too well- has once again got the better of him. He had a back procedure on Dec. 23rd -I think- and was clearly under the influence of "something" during his CBS interview with Jim Nance on Sunday. It's too bad...I feel sorry for him...I hope he can recover from his injuries...but more importantly, I hope he can find another way to deal with his pain.

Looks like they’re gonna dig deeper. I wonder if this is just wasted energy. A single car crash, cost him his career, almost cost him his leg and life, what’s this gonna solve? How will a black box prove he’s drunk or was on his cell, or even distracted?

Interesting. They reached out for “permission”.
IIRC, there was no evidence of skidmarks found (that he applied brakes) which leads me to believe he passed out/blacked out. The question is why?
