If we lose Dielman, I don't see us giving up Oben. Other than that, why would we do that? Or why would the Raiders give up their 1st for an Olineman who clearly is in the twilight of his career?

Thats why we've got to play to the Lions, Browns, or Bucs.

Turner+Oben+1st round+3rd. I think that would eaily be valuable enough for a top 5 pick.
We have zero use for Roman Oben now.

How about we trade a public high five from AJ to Al for their first three picks and some Popeyes Chicken?

See that's not fair. Come on guys we all know the Raiders need a QB so why would we give them Oben? I would trade them our first and our rights to R.Leaf :icon_rofl:

Sad part is I think Davis would do it :icon_tease:

I love how people always come up with the stuff...like they're thinking to themselves "what kind of trade can we make that won't hurt us at ALL so it would be a no-brainer from our standpoint because we won't be giving up anything even close to what we're getting."

A top-5 pick is GOLD in the NFL. You want a top-5 pick? Okay...here are some more realistic scenarios:

-We trade this year's first three picks and next year's first rounder plus Turner for the top-5 pick.

-One of the following players: Antonio Gates, Shawne Merriman, or Marcus McNeill PLUS a third-rounder for the Top-5 pick.

-Our entire '07 draft (except for comp picks) for the top-5 pick.

In other words...getting the top-5 pick in the draft is going to HURT, like Trumpy doing an anal probe on a Raider fan. It's not going to be some painless act like; "hey, let's trade Michael Turner straight up for a top-5 pick," or "hey let's trade Jordan, Kiel, Jue, Krause, and all the rest of our totally undesireable trash for a top-5 pick."

We could trade out entire draft for it. Then get a #1 for Turner.

Then we'd have two #1 picks, a third-round comp pick, and probably like a fifth and sixth round comp pick for losing Leber and Caldwell...

Hell, that AJ would probably turn that into 3 pro-bowlers and two solid developmental prospects, lol.

    Besides the Jets and Giants?
