What stands out for me is the recorded interview with Gaut within hours of the incident.... where she's crying, saying that they had no idea this guy was a cop... He acted like a stalker and pulled out a gun...

The "cop" admits to never showing his badge... Case should be interesting to say the least.

That said, I think Gaut really does need to take her court appearances more seriously... The smirking, rolling her eyes stuff has just got to stop!... The judge has already cautioned her... This behavior will not win her points with a jury.... That is too bad because I really think that due to circumstances, she'll have a better chance of acquittal or reduced sentence if she has a jury trial.
