AJ is GOD!!!!
AJ is GOD!!!!
HAHAHAAHAHAHA oh man! Mortal Kombat huh. He's not only a god, but an elder god at that.PostAnteaterCharger said:AJ is like Zeus, he might go even higheer then that
I'd have to go to Mortal Kombat levels for how high and impressive he is
Not to mention that he doesn't play with much emotion. Now that might not sound like much of a deal but I can't imagine his facial expression gets anyone excited in the huddle. guy never looks like he's having fun out there.boltssbbound said:Rivers has yet to have a truly bad game. Eli is very inconsistent. Sometimes he looks great, other times he plays horribly.
He's WAY beyond Blaze and Raiden and FujikoLaDeezie21 said:HAHAHAAHAHAHA oh man! Mortal Kombat huh. He's not only a god, but an elder god at that.
Doesn't matter. In 28 starts, we know Elisha still has a lot of improving to do. If he can improve that is...:icon_shrug:LaDeezie21 said:I love how the Giant fans keep bringing up how he's only played 5 games. I can see their point but unless Rivers wakes up retarded tomomrrow I don't see his productivity declining.
When he came in for Brees against Denver last year he ran a play-action fake that caught my attention right away. I called my buddy right after and said he sells it WAY better than Brees.Trumpet_Man said:I want to see his deep post in stride and his play-action fakes (how well does he sell it).
Yeah, in his first few preseason games, he looked clumsier than any QB I'd ever seen. I am SHOCKED at how smooth he looks on the run now.Trumpet_Man said:Rivers is making his mark.
My concern with him and most other fans after watching him were two fold.
1. Rivers took a long time to get in the groove and looked rooky-ish. It seemed to take one or two series to get in synch. Not anymore.
2. His backpeddle was atrocious and choppy. His footwork was hideous. Not anymore.
So Rivers has corrected those things to this fans satisfaction now I want to see his deep post in stride and his play-action fakes (how well does he sell it).
When Rivers hits that magical 50+ yard post pattern in stride every fan will know "holy shit this kid really is the Chosen One".

We don't have whiney ***** threads like that on this forum that show how self-conscious we are about the topic.
The Chargers got the better Qb AND Shawne Merriman - the Giants really got taken to the cleaners on that trade.
All semblence of a conventional conversation just went out the window. Someone really oughta hook a car battery up to this jerkoffs teeth. I normally dont respond to this ######, but christ, sometimes its too much...

HarooniSimply because a fan is honest enough to recognize and acknowledge talent on another team, does not make them any less of a fan of their own team. Mutual respect is not something to be frowned upon, if your opponent is good and you beat him anyway, it's a much greater accomplishment and way more gratifying!
Jet Blackvery nice way to word it, but sadly the homers here only think black and white. they think to be a loyal fan means you cant give respect to another teams good players. i am old school i dont get cocky about my team and i respect the teams oponents and never count a win before hand.
