Who do you think will start the opener vs. Oakland?

There might be a difference in who you want to start, but select the player who has the best chance at lining up vs. Oakland on MNF.

Hope to start: Oben, but I sure doubt he'll be ready. I think he will be starting by the Steeler game.

Will start: McNeill looked far better in run and pass blocking then Jordan did. Jordan did not do a terrible job (Besides the one sack) but he did not create holes of push through to the second level on run blocking. McNeill did all of this, looks huge, but did it against 2nd stringers. I hope he gets a start in the next week or two so we can see how he performs.

Depends but I still have to give the edge right now to Leander.

However, if McNeill starts versus Chicago's first stringers on Friday and does a pretty decent job holding off their DE, I wouldn't be surprised to see Marty and Cam decide to give Marcus the nod for the season opener.

That is of course, contingent on Oben not yet being ready.
It will be Jodan but with Mcniel lined up at TE. Set a tone, get on a roll and then Jordan alone with Manu.

I watched the start of play last night, they did just that with jordan, mcniel and manu on the left.

I dont like Jordan or McNeil as the starter. McNeil is better at pass blocking and did pretty well there on Saturday but if we want to run the ball....play Jordan.

McNeil needs work at run blocking and i hope he inproves greatly in the next 3 preseason games. He was horrible versus GB.
