Rivers on ESPN Classic - 10/24/2006

For those that are interested in Philip Rivers' college years, he will be showcased in an ESPN Classic game tomorrow.

It is the 2003 Virginia @ NC State game, where Rivers threw for 410 yards and 4 TDs as the Wolfpack defeated the Cavaliers 51 - 37 in close contest until late in the 4th quarter.

This game featured an epic matchup between Rivers and current Falcons' backup QB Matt Schaub. Matt threw for 393 yards and 4 TDs in a nearly equally great performance.

Yeah.

Today's ESPN Classic football game had the 2000 Auburn @ Ole Miss game, where the Tigers won it. The game featured then rookie tackle Marcus McNeill.
