Dude, Julius Peppers was convicted of the same **** merriman is now and he came back strong, roid free and is still considered as the best DE in the NFL. Merriman WILL be back and stronger than ever and will prove to all the haters that he still is THE BEST OLB in the league! stop tripping- tim dobbins is supposed to be great too-we'll see!:icon_mrgreen:

Merriman is going to get over this and still dominate for years to come. Charger fans don't stop believing in this team. Yeah the timing of all this bad luck sucks, but luckily we will have him back again this year and trust me Merrimonster will b looking for someone to hit!

The disappointment is for THIS year. We are looking up at a team in Denver that has a better D and isn't missing their entire pass rush for at least a month.

A Wild Card is the likely scenario looking at it logically. It's rare that Wild Cards go deep into January.

I must have missed where these "bandwagoners" demand Merriman be cut.:icon_shrug:

I unfortunately agree and if you are a REAL nfl fan you would know that the denver D is first off underrated and probably THE BEST in the nfl behind da bears! Denver is tough, but still can't get that offense going, and they play every tough game at home ALWAYS! it pisses me off. :icon_evil:

They are saying it on the other boards. Not everyone, but about 4 or 5 posters.

I don't remember all of the details... but I did find this
Len Pastabelly Article from ESPN

We won't know that Peppers' and Merriman's situations are "exactly" alike until the facts come out. Even then, we'll be lucky to pinpoint exactly what he took.

Until then... he's in the Piece of **** Club. I hope he works his way out real fast.

i dont agree, even with all the hits were taking i still see us having enough depth to win many games left on our schedule.

Its going to be tough and alot of it will rely on Rivers, LT and the offense
It was stated pretty well early on; we have to metamorphosize into the colts

Merriman tesing positive for steroids is not quite the same as Peppers and Buckner testing positive for a dietary supplement.
