Randy Moss

What are your thoughts on our CBs having to cover Randy Moss this year? Not a job I'd look forward to. Not to mention, now we have to play him twice a year, unless his mouth or behavior gets him suspended!!! That would be a darn shame. Bwaaa haaa haaaa haaaa!

It will be tough covering him one on one. But we've played against him in the past and did a decent job containing him. If our pass rush inproves this year, then it will help out our DB's. Collins is not a mobile QB so I say that we unleash Foley and the boys on him. Oakland will score more point this year, but they will most likely give up more point than they score beacuse they haven't done anything to improve their defense.

Moss will get his against the Chargers. But the key to beating the Raiders will be to shut down Lamont Jordan. I'm not to worried because it should be pretty easy to score on you guys since you defense is the same from last year. Get used to high scoring games.

Good call, CR. Let Moss score his points. Unless he is going to play in the defensive secondary, he can not make too much of a difference.

And Raiders fan, you should be worried about T.O.'s blow up. Shade of things to come? We talked about that today in http://thehaternation.com

Very true, Moss=TO. Collins is no Cullpepper and doesn't have the mobility to buy time and create plays.

collins is no culpepper hes himself and has a stronger arm and is a proven winner by making it to the SB, Moss=T.O please you guys are hating simply, moss has always been a great team mate just ask his team mates and he would never hold out and act like an idiot and that site you gave a link to is crap!!

Moss wouldn't act like an idiot? Why did the Vikings let him go then? Because they were tired of his antics and found that Nate Burleson can be just as productive in their offense with out the disruptions. I do believe that he is the most gifted reciver in the game right now. But please don't make him sound like a saint.

As far as the defense is concerned, you can switch back to a 4-3 but your anchors in the middle are over the hill (Washington and Sapp). Plus everyone else on the defense is mediocre with the exception of Woodson. Morrison was a stud here in SDSU but he's not even slotted to start yet. So while the Raiders will score, they can also be out scored becasue of the defense. One last note, you have Norv Turner as a coach. he couldn't lead ants to a picnic. If he couldn;t controll the team last year what makes you think that he could controll the team now?

first of all it was norvs first season with us and rob ryan is the guy who ***** over norv with that defense of his and he put togther a good O though. he just needed some running game!! The D will be better with sapp playing at his usual spot and i no hes not over the hill, just read this
http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp05/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=2131368

The LBs we have are good foremen and clark and morrison does have a chance of starting still on the OLb posisition, youll see shwigert gibson and hill along with asnmongha and our rooks show up just wait!!

We'll see how things turn out this season. One things for sure, with Denver, KC, SD, and Oak offenses, there will be tons of scoring this season. Games may be determined by who has the ball last.

Exactly! The bigger a distraction to his team, the better for our division. So far I haven't heard much from him, but that may be because T.O. is hogging the camera time.

moss is already going to be a distarction to his opponets becuse you have to scheme alone for a guy like moss, for his team its confindence he brings so there is no way he'll be bad for the team!!

I just read this whole thread....gosh, you like to defend Moss and his childish ways.

Don't deny that Moss isn't a team player. He walks off the field. Doesn't run full routes when the ball isn't coming his way. Bad mouths his teamates, including Culpepper.

He's a good WR...possibly the best. But you'd better hope that he gives a full effort all the time, if he doesn't what good is he?
