Oh man, thats kinda harsh.
It's harsh, but also true. Rivers in a sink or swim situation. That sometimes brings out the best in players. I really hope he thrives in the NFL! :icon_mrgreen:

DAAAAAAAAMN! Brother O is layin down the law! You go my Irish brother!:icon_lol:
Hey, don't get me wrong, I really like Philip...but repeating over and over again that "this is not a setback" is getting old...just show them on the field at the upcoming OCS and mini camp...otherwise just tell those media jackoff's "Watch me play and judge for yourself"...:tounge:

I agree... He needs to bring it, not sing it. But until camp, he can only act like an opera goon.:lol

I also am not picking on you, every article about PR talks about the setback. Its gettin old, but its the offseason news...

It wasn't you...but the funny thing is, when I said (typed) "Then STFU and Play", I was speaking "rhetorically" to Philip...not you...:lol

If you were in his position and everyone was doubting you, you'd say the same. Specially now that Brees went on Best Damn and said that the team is worse off with out him and that they made a mistake not signing him! If I were Rivers I would be heated...it's time to stop being so nice, and just say screw Brees and not "this is not a setback" crap. I'm not opposed to a little rivalry or conflict. It makes the game more exciting, and it would show leadership from PR! I'm tired of the political correctness, Brees chose money over the team and now he's bad mouthing us, screw him and his shoulder! I hope he enjoys his sub .500 remainder of his career. I wouldn't be surprised if Brees never smells the playoffs again! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!:icon_evil: :icon_eek: :icon_evil:

Then STFU until you play...Talk is cheap in my book...
Philip has the heart of a champion and he has taken it as a personal insult that Brees takes the money and runs and then on the way out says "I don't think you all can win without me".

Philip is right, its not a set back but a leap forward.

Those that do not believe will see.

The Era of the 6'5 quarterback has begun....

And like I said, there's nothing he can do now but talk. Last I checked the season is still a little ways off. :icon_tease:
