"We're going to shock the world!"
"It's a game of inches"
"It's a passing league"
"Leave it all out on the field"
"Defense wins championships"
"The best defense is a good offense"
"It's a must win game"
"Adversity will make us stronger"
"We've got to go out and execute"
"Just take it one week at a time"

Good luck for today and hope all in the car park have a ball.

Currently 11 hours ahead sitting on a beach in Mauritius so won't be able to follow the game. Fingers crossed for a positive result but no expectations. Would settle for a strong performance from the D and for the O to get its **** together.

This would be a great game for the Bolts to take in convincing fashion. A 10-07 win and going toe to toe with the Seahogs will make for a great evening for me.. GO BOLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful, downtown Ramona, CA
Finally, the home opener is here!!!! It will be in the 90's in the stadium and around 100 degrees on the field. The Sea-hags will be in their dark uniforms and the visitors bench will be in the sun all day long. Hmmm...smells like burnt chicken. I'm hoping the Chargers come out focused and angry!

I'm rocking my Rivers white "throwback" jersey today and I have been saving my vocal cords for this occasion.
Get loud people!!!! No Gatorade and ice bucket for "Malibu Pete" today!

Well done Blue. Rivers is a Winter Soldier with his record in December...

Interesting point:
The range of spreads--from just the 5 sources ESPN looks at
http://espn.go.com/nfl/lines
is unusually diverse: 3.5 to 6 points, favoring, of course, the Seahawks.

On a day that the Chargers more than have their work cut out for them,
I'm going to choose to take that as an "anything could happen" sign. :)

p.s. And don't forget that--though in San Diego, Charger fans were disgusted
by Monday night, the Chargers actually performed better than was nationally
expected...and beat the spread...

Absolutley! Hoping this one goes in our favor... I have Bronco fans on my street worried more about the Chargers/Seahawks the Broncos/Chiefs.. Get'em Bolts!

Jarrett Johnson's wife is in labor, he's not going to play.:coffee:

Flowers also inactive.

Melvin is a go.

Tourek Williams to start for Johnson......might be the worst news of all.

Really? JJ is not playing just becaue his wife is in labor...what a momma's boy...sheeesh.
Mrs. Johnson married a football player.
And the kid will probably come out wearing a helmet.
...just saying.

Can't believe this happens the day we're going up against one of the best rushing offenses in the NFL. Tourek Williams is terrible. Like Shareece he seems to get a lot of credit in practice for things that don't happen in games.
