#7 San Diego Chargers (2-0)
This bothers me: They're calling their pass rush the Pacific Sack Exchange. Hey, all you clever phrase-makers out there, you ever hear of a Jets unit with Joe Klecko and Mark Gastineau, etc.? You know where the term "sack" comes from? No, not looting and pillaging and the sack of Rome and the girls' dorm. It's a George Allen phrase, when he was coaching the Rams in a game with the Cowboys and their QB, Craig Morton, was coming up. "We'll get that Morton Salt," George said. "We'll put him in a sack." Hence the phrase, sack. True story. Honest.

You guys gotta remember, Dr. Z. is the one who predicted we'd go 7-9 this year, with a weaker schedule......
And? Predictions are like opinions which are like bung holes. Everyone has one. If the Chargers want respect they have to beat it from their opposition.

Dr. Z is a stupid ****ing queer, I hate those commercials he's in.

And how would the Chargers do worse? Ive never seen a team go through more tough times than the Chargers did last year and still pull out 9-7.

1. 5 teams off bye weeks
2. 5 East Coast trips
3. Both of the SuperBowl contenders
4. Almost every team that made the playoffs in 04'
5 Never had the same Oline game after game.
6. LT got hurt in the last 5 games
7. Secondary was unorganized

ways we fixed it were

1. We play Oakland twice, Buffalo, Cleveland, Arizona, St.Louis, Tennesee, and a KC team on the downhill.
2. Only 2 eastcoast trips.
3. Both SB contenders again, neither of which is looking good
4. Only 4 games against 05' playoff teams
5 Oline is fully healthy, and still together for a 3rd year.
6. LT put on muscle weight to help his durability, and Michael tuner is a good spell back.
7. Seconday is bolstered by the perfect veteran pickup in Marlon McRee and rookie Antonio Cromartie.

Remember, this is the same Dr. Z that quoted Bernie Kosar about the 'West Coast Offence' that Norv Turner got from Zampese (who in turn got it from Coryell, Gillman, etc) but some moron on the wire decided San Francisco was the same thing as San Diego.
