Greetings everyone! First, thank you for accepting me as a member. After reading a lot of your posts and threads, I can see that AFSF is a very passionate and knowledgeable sports community and, I hope I can add something useful. Second, as you may, or may not know, Pro Football is back in San Diego in the form of the San Diego Fleet www.sandiegofleet.com of The Alliance of American Football aaf.com . It's very exciting to be a part of sports history, especially in San Diego! We've sold a number of season and group tickets and have great support from a number of the leading forums, blogs and podcasts. We are only 88 days away from our first home game (2/17/2019) and things are happening very fast over here at SDCCU stadium. One of the reasons I love my job is that The AAF is all about the fan experience and quality football so, if you have any questions, or I can help you with season tickets or group events, you can contact me directly at david.bowling@aaf.com.
Go Fleet!

Welcome David!
Feel free to jump in.

AFSF members, I have had the pleasure of speaking with David, who works for the AAF, and the Fleet.
In the past BoltTalk (now AFSF) was very active in following the Chargers, though always kept at pole-arms length away by the team. My feeling so far in speaking with David is that the fan, and by default, us nutty fruitcakes here will have a much more inclusive, or immersive experience.

As a forum member I will definitely be looking into the league and writing about them. My hopes is that this league will be more like the AFL of old, and less like the XFL, here today, gone tomorrow.

Again, welcome David and thanks for joining!

Thank you for getting through the hazing phase, relatively unscathed! :)

My first question would be: "Why only two shades of gray, in the Fleet team colors?"

Lastly, all kidding aside, thanks for showing up here. We were treated astoundingly badly by ownership of
the (often mediocre / poor) team we generously supported for 56 years...any gesture of respect by the AAF is greatly appreciated. :D
