As you may have noticed, I have updated the Bolt Talk look and feel to be full screen. This of course is going to be a large change and I am looking forward to your guys feedback. I usually like to do something before the start of the football season to get things going, and what better time than than this season for a new look since we've moved to LA. (I know, lots of mixed feelings)

Anyways, if you guys find any issues, please post them here. I've gone through as much as I could on my own, but random things will keep popping up.

Thanks for the use of your site. If you want to make it feel more L.A., put a brown haze over it, slow it down, and add drive-by and face-lift emojis.

Any chance you can make the username in the top right corner show up on a smartphone?

I only ask because it seems I'll be using a smartphone for my Internet access for a while now.

I can see my username and alerts when I turn my phone. Landscape Mode?

Minor gripe but there appears to be room to squeeze it in when viewing in upright mode.

What smart phone do you have? I have been testing on various sizes, but maybe I missed one. Because the user name needs to be there.

Thanks for the heads up!

I guess I should’ve looked for this thread instead of posting in the football forum.

No more disagreeing Chainy’s posts?

How can we sort the posts so latest reply goes up top?

We are going to be adding a bunch of the plugins back into the site. The new version was needed because the old version was coming to EOL. We will be getting "reactions" back real soon. (getting that back when we upgrade to 2.1.0)

I am not sure about ordering by newest posts first. Usually when you click on a thread it will just to the newest posts and there is a button to head right to the newest posts.

On the old site, the list would be organized where the latest topic with a response would be st the top - so it was neeest replies-to topic first. Now we have to fish through the list. The sorting feature out of the box does not have this type of sort feature.

Try using new post option.
It will list only the threads with the latest posts.

Yeah I saw that but I’m not really interested in every forum all the time, I mostly hang out in the football forum.

Seems like this same issue exists on Outlook 2010, the sorting feature seems to have taken a step back. I’m sure I’m missing something here or maybe there’s a plug-in that will be available.

Even so, it is not chronologically sorting like the old site. That’s my only nit, otherwise upgrade looks good to me.
It will take some getting used to for sure....

I am hoping it gets fixed. I liked just hanging in one forum with latest replies up top. My OCD nature I suppose.
I WANT MY FUNNY LIKE OPTION BACK!!!!

I WANT MY OPTIMISTIC LIKE OPTION BACK, so I can respond to your post with OPTIMISTIC. :D
I am not an optimist...
I am a pessimist...

Optimists get upset when things don't go right, where as pessimists expect them to go wrong and are pleasantly surprised when they don't! Win, win!
