Today, Shawne Merriman dropped his appeal over testing Positive for having high levels of Nanderalone in his bloods. This means that he will miss the Browns, Bengals, Broncos and the Raiders Games. His first game back will be on December 3rd against the Bills

Were gonna hear so much crap from the Raider fans thinkin they can take us now that we dont have Merriman.

I think we'll beat Denver, but Im not sure about Cinci, I dont know if we can out score them when we cant stop the pass.
I look for Palmer passin for 400.

400? I think your exaggerating how bad our pass defense is.

Bulger might have passed for 300+ but half of that came in garbage time.

I disagree and once again I saw Rams receivers running free in our secondary. I have to believe it's the scheme because there's no way guys like Tony G and Kevin Curtis should be that wide open every week. When we don't pressure the QB our pass defense looks very ordinary.

Through the first three quarters--before the game was decided--the Bolts gave up 10 points. After we had sealed the victory, we gave up 14.

Most NFL pass defenses look ordinary if they don't pressure the QB. If you go back and look at the tape, at least two of Merriman's sacks were coverage sacks. Sure, he got to the QB, but only after Bulger had to hold the ball because no one was open.

I am beginning to believe the league hates us by doing that ... ... besides, we are not much of an offensive threat.

I'll let you know how he does as I will be at the game. It should be nothing more than a warmup game for Merriman.
