It's about freakin' time man!

I know it's early in the week but I've already made an NFL play... I've got the Saints +4 against the Steelers. I know the Steelers are due, but Brees is playing like an all pro again this year and Big Ben is looking more and more like Andrew Walters every week. Notre Dame -11.5 @ Air Force is on my radar, but I haven't bet it yet.

Per the request of most members of LLV we have amended the LLV charter with the following;
If you don't post a pick before the game, we don't need to hear about it. When you lose a posted pick, no more BSing about having backed it with the over/under unless it is in writing. You don't need to post your picks, but if you don't post it, shut up about it.
You make it sound like more than one person is doing those things.

It's a blanket statement as not to alienate any one member. :icon_tease:

leisure, post your picks on the ponies so that we can follow along even if there is no time to play. :tup:

The best way to create a BCS CFB clusterfock is for Louisville to lose to Rutgers and Michigan to get walloped by Ohio State.

Then Ohio State loses the next week.

:icon_eek:

Think of the pandemonium in college football as everyone weighs in on which two one-loss teams in the top 12 deserve to play for the BCS title.

I have the 3-8-9 exacta box in Race #2

Race #2 - Rating = 1
#3 Special Interest - Fair odds 5/2
#8 Big Case - Fair odds 5/2
#9 Kanu - Fair odds 9/2

Special Interest, once a Triple Crown Candidate and runner up in the Rushaway Stakes this past winter while still a maiden, was dropped into a 25K maiden claimer last out for the first time, immediately picked up by good trainer Montano. Cutting back from a route to a sprint and having finished 3rd before his last race, 2nd two before that and beaten under a length, the same as the race prior to that, Special Interest has a nice shot to win in pretty weak and wide open maiden claiming field. Big Case drops into a maiden claiming race for the first time, last out 4th turning for home before tiring, two before that within a neck of the leader in the stretch then tiring to 3rd. At this level he has the ability to have a big say in the outcome. Kanu can not be ignored as he opens at double digit odds, as he was claimed on 9/16 out of his debut by excellent trainer Mike Maker, who wins ¼ of all his races. Rested almost 2 months, and having finished decently while wide in his debut to be 5th of 11 and only 4 behind the winner at the very end, Kanu could come back a different horse today adding blinkers as well as Lasix, with a much better post than the rail he drew last out to help.
