How are they screwing him?

The league has never done this for anyone else. They are bending over backwards to accommodate him. If he can keep his mouth shut he might get a contract.

They will not let him reschedule a workout after giving him one with just a few days notice, his only concern is to allow all interested GMs time to attend.

Yeah I'd say they are bending over backwards if he sued the league and they are still dealing with the guy. He's damaged goods IMO. Overrated all along. Maybe a decent backup, but what team wants all the baggage if he continues with his distractions on the field , or even off. What's his committment to, football or politics or both? Most players teams want on their teams are players committed to one thing,,,,,winning and making their football ability better thru hard work.

About all you could say is maybe he'd be less of a distraction that an AB lolz. That's a low bar man. And even that is questionabe, can you imagine all the distraction around the media following this guy's every action and statement from week to week, day to day, hour to hour? Not worth it IMO. But some team will probably take the gamble.

"It's disingenuous," Reid said. "They want the appearance of giving Colin a chance, but they give him two hours' notice and tell it has to be on a Saturday when they know decision-makers are traveling. So is this real? We'll see."

Reid said Kaepernick was told on Tuesday he had two to three hours to let the league know if he would attend the workout before the offer was released to the media.

Wherever these Valkyries drop me...
Why in the world, if you are seriously trying to at least appear to be trying to
undo some of the damage to K's career, do you add the dick move of saying
it must arbitrarily happen on this (shockingly soon) date, before more people could plan for it?
I've never seen anything like this.
It's like some genius at the NFL said:
"Yeah, we consulted with Black Lives Matter on whether to have a work out,
and then we're asking the Klan to do the scheduling...so, everybody happy, right?"

When is the last time we heard about a football player kneeling at a recent NFL game?
Eric Reid, Kenny Stills, and Albert Wilson continue to kneel.

The NFL is trying to say, "See we gave him an opportunity". But it is a bullshit move on their part to only give him and the teams 4 days notice.

Aside from that, one of the reasons he is not getting an invite to a camp these past 3 years, he is not that good. He is not good a reading defenses. Second, until now it would have been a media circus for any team bringing him in.

This might be part of the settlement that he gets a tryout.

cant imagine that either kap or the nfl wantsto see him in a nfl uni.

kaps stance and. Reputation is best served if he never plays again.

Nice to see everyone has an opinion of what someone else wants to do with his career and skills
in the land of the free and the home of brave only enough not to upset sponsors and politicians.

You have never offered an opinion on the subject?

Sorry, I think that people complaining about only having 4 days notice is just BS.

So what? People don't have to walk to Atlanta. The head Coaches don't have to go to Atlanta, the GMs don't have to go to Atlanta. Anyone from the scouting team can go. The NFL is recording everything for the teams.

4 days? How long does it take South West to get to Atlanta?! 5 days or just a few hours?!

Teams getting ready for a game... So effing what! Again, head coaches are not required. You telling me someone from the scouting staff is required on the sidelines during the game? No. They can go, they are the people who should go.

Maybe people need to stop bitching about what a victim Kap is, and realize people are setting new precedents for him, in a nation where he has nothing the be thankful for, as he makes millions playing a game. He is getting everything handed to him and he will still bitch about it.

I wonder why the Steelers aren’t scheduled for a look see? Kaep is better than Rudolph even if he played on one knee, and he can’t be worse a AB citizen-wise.

Remember when Kaepernick ripped off a guy's helmet and whacked him on his head with it?
Or how about when Kaepernick got busted for getting handjobs from massage-parlor sex slaves?
Remember when he got called out for forcing his ball sack onto a female trainer's forehead and then spent the next couple decades ruining said trainer's career?
Remember when he took San Diego's most popular sports team and moved it to a city that didn't care about said team?
Remember when he got convicted of obstruction of justice in a double-murder case?
Remember when he bribed a governor for a riverboat gambling license?
I am sure those are the reasons why he is so hated by so many people. It couldn't be because of his offensive politics.

Right on, Q.

Jets release Falk. But Kap probably has “no NFL skills”

... and thrusting Luke Falk into the limelight. The former sixth-round pick looked forward to the opportunity to potentially prove himself as a capable NFL backup -- at minimum -- but could not achieve that goal. After a solid outing stepping in for Siemian in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns, he went 0-2 as starter in the last two games and mustered just 218 passing yards and no touchdowns, but three interceptions.

He's now been released by the Jets -- the team announced -- ending an eventful but abbreviated stay that began when the team claimed him off waivers in May.

Luke needed to close his eyes and use the force.

No, say it isn’t so! The NFL with some underhanded motivations? I don’t believe it!

NFL releases statement on change to Colin Kaepernick workout - NFL.com

He probably knows that even if a bunch of teams watched him work out, no one would probably sign him - after not playing for about 3 seasons (and let's face it, he sucked when he last played) he's not good enough to be anyone's starter and he's too much trouble for a backup QB.

He gets alot press for not being in the NFL, if he were someone's backup or a struggling starter, nobody would care what he has to say anymore.

Read my link above yours. His lawyers figured out the BS the NFL was trying to pull.
