Addae?

Nevermind, checked the link. He's finally back at practice which is good to hear.

Don't expect Flowers to play...... hopeful on Attaochu, and expect both Freeney and Gates to play. Good to hear that Addae is finally back.

Getting one of Flowers or Addae back would be excellent news.

Get Addae back, we move Gilchrist to slot corner and have the secondary be much more complete.

Get Flowers back, we move Verrett to slot corner, where he did good things against the redbirds.

Get both back? Having a logjam is not exactly a huge problem.

Already talks of starting Watt and Legursky against a good Bills D-line.

http://espn.go.com/blog/san-diego-chargers/post/_/id/7022/o-line-depth-could-be-issue-vs-bills

Granted, Richie and Johnny are the two weakest links of the line, but they still had a great showing against Seattle (especially Richie).
Yeah. I wouldn't be too, too worried about it. Watt can't be any worse Troutman was. I counted SIX missed blocks by Troutman against Seattle. SIX.

Watt has great communication as well, he can read the defense for the most part. That will help no matter who the C is or G.

Two games in, 1-1 let these boys play, learn the game and become what they will. The Bolts are in transition not rebuild, so far it looks to be going well. They just knocked off the SeaHogs in fine form, no reason for complaints.

I would imagine if Ohrnberger isn't playing Watt would be playing Center.

No Orhnberger is a blow, I'd actually like to see Watt in place of Troutman. Even if he's the center of the future, I'd rather have him at guard next to a veteran for bit. Or if Clary was in at RG, going with Watt at center might work.

I guess the good news is Watt is getting a bunch of reps at center, but I sure hope he doesn't have to play there yet.

Krasovic - "Melvin Ingram (hamstring), Rich Ohrnberger (back), Johnnie Troutman (back) and Jerry Attaochu (hamstring) sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday. Ryan Mathews, who injured a knee ligament against Seattle, is expected to remain sidelined for about a month. Keenan Allen (groin) and Antonio Gates (hamstring) were limited participants a second day in a row, as was Jahleel Addae (hamstring)."

This Keenan Allen thing is new, and very concerning when you see injuries in the middle of the week.

Dublin, Oul Sod.
Happy to hear Watt might be coming in with Troutman going the other way. But losing Ohrnberger is not good. Having said that Legursky cannot be any worse than Troutman can he?..... would be nice to have Wiggins now, I thought he looked fine at RG during preseason.

Reich's comments this week make it sound like Watt may start at center rather than guard.

Don't think the pass rushers need the practice as much. Just rest them up and turn them loose on Sunday.

This is so important.

KA13 was covered by arguably the 2 best corners in football over the past 2 weeks in Peterson and Sherman. Now, we get to see him return to his #1 WR form.

What I worry about with Buffalo is their DL and running game. Their run game opens up the pass for the young WR they have. I was hoping Melvin-a-saurus would be able to go. Our OL is going to have their hands full with that DL, which may just be the best in the NFL.

Well, I hope they all get better soon.

Sucks. He hurt himself on the 2nd to last play of the game against Seattle, didn't even look like much at the time.
Typical Chargers luck...... just had his best game, so naturally he'd have to miss the next one.

Rivers (groin) is "unlikely to play."

Keith Rivers of the Bills, that is. ;)

Acee mentioned in his article that Verrett left early with a hamstring injury. I didn't even notice he was out.

We can't catch a fucking break.

Edit: yep, he left with about 10 minutes to go in the 4th quarter.

Not true, we catch plenty of breaks....... also, our fair share of tears, pulls, and strains. ;)
