He should go to the Raiders, the team he always wanted to play for in the first place lmao. And the chug fans can thank Bozo for that. He took up way too much cap money and is hardly available because of his vagina issues and his roid rage. Can't make it up. Chargering.

That would be awesome.....goes back to kill the chugs each year. If he goes to the Raiders he might have Davonte Adams on the other side and Aaron Rodgers pitching the ball to him......that could be a devastating passing attack. To KC? Well not sure they need the guy......after watching that offense last night it's actually IMPROVED since they had the cheetah. Travis Kelce opens up WR's to make huge plays then they started getting a 2nd TE Watson into the action. That little RB rookie #10 is damn fast like the cheetah almost. I don't think Allen fits in there like he would with the Raiders but hey anything to beat the chugs and drop them further back in that division and fail to make the playoffs is good by me. Next up after the Lombardi scapegoat firing will be Staley and the human Testicle. Dean's sphincter is tightening and now Dea is giving him a jalapeno enema. lmafo....the NFL should just let the guy know he and his family are no longer wanted in the league, he's welching and not honoring his committment to the LA project. Call him in and make him sweat, then threaten to break his kneecaps unless he sells and completely relinquishes any ties to the NFL lolololol.

No. 7???!!!

Hey Lindseed, these are the FUdeans right?

FUdean

7. Los Angeles Chargers

2022 record: 10-7

Offseason in three or fewer words: Pay Justin Herbert

The 2020 sixth overall pick is eligible for a contract extension, and it would be in the Chargers' favor to get a deal done expeditiously, not only to beat the market and pending deals for Joe Burrow, Tua Tagovailoa and Lamar Jackson, but to cut out any distraction that looming contract negotiations might cause for Herbert and the organization. That way, the Bolts can place all of their attention where it is badly needed in order to make the deep playoff run they've missed the past two seasons -- by fixing the offense and building a scheme that allows Herbert and his arm to shine. -- Lindsey Thiry

just like he lured struggling wannabe actors to training camp with the bait being an acting tryout , which turned out to be nothing more than brand new chug gear to wear and sit it the stands posing lmfao....can't make it up......he actually had to lure actresses and actors to TC to make it look like there were actual chug fans. HE should have been brought up on charges of luring females for his perverted benefit......he probably was up in the stands watching them with binoculars. Dean Goes To Hollywood.

Okay, let's see, Mahomes makes $45 million a year, Herbie is better....I"m thinking 4 year $199 million all guaranteed. Trim $23 million off this year's roster, add it to next year's year 1 of new contract, add in $25 million from the Spanos Save the Children fund. Ask for the it's the least you can do for me partner, loan of $30 million (need some cushion) from pal Stan Kroenke. problem: if we raise ticket prices we only get a18.5% bump, Stan and the Stadium, get the rest.
I think we extend Telesco and Staley, they're both so damn cute.

Good morning to you all!
It's been over a year since my last post, and I just wanted to stop by and congratulate my friends here on yet another "successful" season for all who hate the Spanos family and the LAC. The disappointment of watching them get into the playoffs was well worth the satisfaction of seeing them fold like a cheap suit against the Jags in the 1st round...and made even more gratifying by having another AFCW team hoist the trophy. Some would argue that the Chiefs -winners of 2 of the last 4 SBs- would've done even better in that span with someone else at QB, but I think I'm ok with them struggling along with their substandard QB...he's only 27, so maybe he'll do better than just league and SB MVP next year!

Football just wasn't the same for me this year without my old friend, and I don't think that will ever change. I rooted for the Bills in his honor and tried my best to remain interested; but the more I tried, the more insignificant and trivial the game appeared. Watching Damar Hamlin almost lose his life on the field only reinforced this feeling. I can't help looking back at the 40 years I spent obsessing over a game and that stupid team as a waste of time and energy. The cornerstone of my personal belief system has always been: "anything in moderation is correct and everything in excess, wrong"...being fanatical about a sport, or a even worse, a professional sports team is the complete opposite of what -to me- constitutes a healthy and balanced lifestyle. So moving forward, I'm going to try the "casual fan" thing and devote some of the leftover time and energy into something more worthwhile.
Cheers!

Hey hof, thanks for checking in, been thinking about you and truly sorry about your loss. Yes that makes sports and other trivial issues take a backseat to what really matters. Well anyways always good to hear from you and get your input, youve been missed. All the best from us here.

Thanks Gilly, I appreciate the kind words. The folks in this forum, even through staunch and sometimes volatile disagreements, formed a special bond during a very unique and difficult period in recent human history. Some of us bared our political and ideological souls, and shared views and personal experiences that are usually held in that little pocket on the inner liner of one's vest. We did a much better job of creating awareness and passing along real science on COVID within our small community than any single government I can think of. Informative conversations that not only helped with maintaining physical health during the deadly pandemic, but also mentally at a time when the world seemed to have strangely shut down. I'm truly grateful for the time I spent here. As a casual fan, I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute moving forward; but I can guarantee that I'll be checking in more often.

Renaldo Hill leaving Chargers to join Dolphins; Chargers plan to promote Derrick Ansley to DC

Congratulations Renaldo!!! Freedom at last!!! Interesting, sounds like he is taking a coaching step back. But these guys will probably do anything to get out of that shiit show. FUdean

Who the Fuk is Derrick Ansley. No surprise they are bottom feeding hiring from within.

The Chargers hired a new offensive coordinator recently and they’ll have a new defensive coordinator in 2023 as well.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Renaldo Hill is leaving his post as the Chargers defensive coordinator in order to join the Dolphins coaching staff. Hill will be the defensive pass game coordinator in Miami.

Hill worked for Dolphins defensive coordinator Vic Fangio for two years when Fangio was the head coach in Denver before going to the Chargers when Brandon Staley, who also worked under Fangio, became their head coach.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Chargers plan to promote Derrick Ansley to defensive coordinator. He has been the defensive backs coach for the last two seasons and has coordinator experience from his time at the University of Tennessee. Assistant defensive backs coach Tommy Donatell is expected to become the secondary coach and pass game coordinator in another move.

The Chargers hired Kellen Moore as their offensive coordinator after firing Joe Lombardi, so Staley’s staff will have new voices leading on both sides of the ball.

He took a step back because he never did anything.

No idea who Ansley is. Just another Staley puppet getting paid minimum wage by the organization I would guess. I'm sure he'll get a red Swingline with a Chargers logo on it, too, and be relegated to the stadium basement.

Yeah agree hof,,,,,,all the debating and viewpoints were what made things interesting especially during those turbulent times. I think the playground has sort of gone to the back burner......at least I don't check it much at all anymore......it's now mostly where misplaced posts go to die lol. But the different view on sports is also really good to have. Even Trumpy has checked in after a long hiatus! He still has a backdoor theory revised to include the Dea lawsuit lmao. I hope the old standbyes stick together ......there aren't a lot of us left here so everyone that contributes is valued that much more!

And your viewpoint from Canada is unique so just glad you are recovering at least a bit enough to check in every now and then , after that awful ordeal you had to suffer through. I don't know, the pain will probably never go away maybe hopefully just ease up a bit with time. I hope coming here and checking in and communicating helps out .....just know we are here whenever for you and have your 6. You are one of us. We all go back to the old SD chug days together, all with different takes and amount of time invested during that part of the chug history, but it's a bond we all can relate to. The band of brothers in that regard. I think we all miss those days. A common bond to keep us together.......for my own situation I just couldn't stop posting on a forum with others who I'd spent so much time with. We had differing views of whether or not to continue to support that team. Most now here don't, but some still do to an extent. Whatever the case all are welcome and hopefully will continue to stay in touch.

Obviously now for SD the main attraction is the Padres for sports. So we have some pretty rabid posters over on the baseball forum. I know that's not your gig. But there is still plenty of action here in the football forum......a lot of entertainment to say the least this year. So getting you back is great to see! You always had some really good insightful takes on the various teams and matchups....probably more in depth than anyone. Hopefully we get to see that again. But whatever is suitable for you is what you should do.....don't feel any pressure, there is none. We are just grateful you are back to whatever extent that ends up being! WELCOME BACK!!!!

It’s 10 hours of just the intro! No singing!
I know, that's the funniest part of it, well in addition to the geeky song and singer. Plus adds to the torture. lol After 1 min of it I became very irritable. :p

Yeah, I left the team when they moved to LA, came back after a year, and then this game with the Jaguars happened. This franchise is hopeless. And it all comes from the top, a 2nd-generation rich kid who doesn't know jack shit.

I bet Kroenke puts his Lombardi in a case right outside Spanos' office so he'll have to see it every day.

No one in the spanos clan has a fucking clue. The only thing I give them credit for is being slum lords and ripping off migrant works by overpricing government cheese sandwiches.
