Please post whatever you want, as long as it is non political, does not requires batteries, or deals with race, creed, or sexuality. If you can get all five of those things into one sentence I might allow it, but the moderators shan't.

If you believe in the Unholy Trinity del Spanni, post here. If someone still thinks the team
will finally, finally, finally come around, this the year, you just know it is....post here.

But expect us Bolt Atheists to not be convinced by your “faith”. We need hard evidence that
Has never been forthcoming, and us hating the Chuggers is not the same as your faith loving the Chuggers.

No one has to post at all. If you do, expect a rebuttal, not a pray session.

I don't ask anyone to like my posts. Insults are an art form, hopefully.

And for that, I'd award points.
Or likes. Free subscription.
In the land of the Chuggers, truth is a warm shower.
Did you just indicate that people who call the Chargers, Chuggers like golden showers?

Asking for @DFWBoltFan

rumor is that all nfl games will be played in the soccer stadium for next season.

the reason behind it is that no one shows up anyway so that dont have to worry about crowds being 6 ft apart.

If those damn opposing fans wouldn't show up,
six hundred feet apart Chugger fans would be possible.

Chargers in LA, at Stubhub was a test run for all the NFL.

How did they know a pandemic was coming?

From all the hype after the draft it sounds like the FUdeans are going to go into the season as a SB favorite. Should be fun to watch.

Who says that? Put the current Ingel Hardwoods against any other team
and they're on short end.
Better than the Ravens? Texans? Chiefs? Miami? Buffalo? Raiders?
If the Raiders had committed to Taylor, had one rookie QB, and one running back, do you think they'd be looked at kindly? Rate the QBs in the AFC West.....rate the running backs....etc.

This is the my god will show up this year, before he was very close. I sense it. I have faith.

The only way this will work is if every team renames itself to the Los Angeles Chuggers.

Or the Jets.
No. Actually. The Spanoses pretty much always find ways to lose all on their own.
Or Pittsburgh or the Chiefs...
One common denominator......the Chuggers.

Recall last year? Top 5 Defense!.....ended up #14th.
Near League MVP Philip Rivers will be leading team to SB.....now who's that?
He Wasn't the answer...
But Babyface Herbie is!
Jerry Tillery....a steal in Round one!?
18 combined tackles...2.0 sacks.
Gordon was a budding All-Star...
Now with Denver. We always said Ekeler was the answer.
Chuggers had powder blues last year....all new uniforms this year!

One terrible franchise. Should be out of business.

“Rate the QB’s in the AFC West”.

how did that work the past dozen years when Chuggers fans were convinced Reeevers was the cream of the crop?

you need a new divining rod.

Able to ignore facts and issues to paint the past with his 20/200 hindsight.

Blah blah blah, more salt in his butthurt than anything else. Isn't it nice that you can pretend to be born again, when the fact is you can't stop talking about the Chargers? You are a closet fan, but feel they are the girlfriend that dumped you and got someone else. You 'don't care' but can't stop stalking her and talking about her. Me thinks thou dost protest too much...

Yes. Losing DJ33 in preseason hurt.
MI54 missed significant time.
The D played through injuries. Now I know the salt in your eyes makes you incapable of seeing how that would impact defensive play (well for this one team, you seem to remain objective with all others)... but that does cause an impact. If you are not capable of seeing that, you might want to stop trying to talk football on the internet...

A team will play as best as it can when playing through injuries. Every season we see teams lead in stat categories early in the season, only to drop as injuries take place. So you trying to make this into something it is not does not hold a lot of weight.

So, am I to assume based on your take that you loved PR17's performance last season. He was your boi all the way! He really lived up to the way he played the year before. And his OL was steadfast throughout the season? Is that what you are trying to sell here?

Your distaste for 'Babyface Herbie' before he takes one snap in an NFL camp is silly at best. I get it, like Q you want everyone to quit their jobs in solidarity with you... But it is not going to happen.

Is this more 20/200 hindsight? "On the surface, Tillery's stats are not anything to write home about. He finished with 17 combined tackles and two sacks in 15 games played, including three starts. Tillery was a healthy scratch in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars because Chargers coach Anthony Lynn wanted a bigger body up front in veteran defensive tackle Sylvester Williams to slow bruising running back Leonard Fournette.

However, Tillery missed all of the offseason and most of training camp due to a torn labrum in his shoulder that required surgery last March. And he played his best football toward the end of the season, giving Chargers badly needed interior pass rush to pair with talented edge guys Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram."

*Yawn*

Gordon shot himself in the foot. If you want to defend what the kid did, go for it. He cost himself his roster spot and millions of dollars. He also impacted his reputation with all teams. Want to talk down about Ekeler? Try, you will just look follish.

Terrible franchise because Hater Harry is now a hater. Sorry, this makes me chuckle...

Tell me how your bandwagon with the Steelers went last season. Or how will your jumping to the Colts go this season? Or are you going to ignore that because they are not the girlfriend that scorned you?
Good post.

Conc .... you are one sad example of what the Chargers have done to their dwindling fan base.
Gordon is happier now and he'll run crazy over the Bolts.. Tillery is another Norte Dame bust, a journeyman at best. You have a 9 year back up quarterback who twice had opportunities to become a starter and both team let him go. Why? because he's not a starter. But the Chuggers love him. Chuggers will be lucky to win 5-6 games this year. Last year I said 8-8 and the eternal Spanni-items thought that I was crazy. Yeah, three wins too crazy. One thing you have correct. Yawn.
Ask anyone from LA to the Mexican border and mention the Chargers and that's their answer, Yawn.

If you can't hate like a grown up, maybe you need to be in another thread where
the Chargers are all white uniformed and faster than ever and Lynn is a great coach and the GM is
53-59 after seven years and he still has a job.
Basking in blah, blah, blah of the forever Spanni curse

If you can't hate the Chargers, which if you google “Chargers” you'll find is pretty easy,
you might consider perhaps saying....I am in the minority.
Plus maybe putting “Comfortable Concudan” in front of threads.
It'd be a nice touch.

Great posts Harryo...good to see you're in mid-season form, when most are still in training camp mode!

If there is one thing my nomadic experience since the move has taught me, it's that NFL is an industry, and just like any other industry sector, there are companies -in this case franchises- that perform well consistently, and those who lag behind, barely surviving even the when the industry and the economy is booming. I know it's an often used analogy; but in an open market environment, such laggard organizations are either eaten up by bigger fish, or simply vanish which is, of course, something that doesn't happen in the NFL. I've always said that the highest levels, billionaires don't practice open market capitalism, but they're surprisingly socialist. Sharing TV revenues equally assures that not only such organizations are immune to failure, but they're guaranteed significant revenue and profits (due to a salary cap on labor), and therefore , are constantly increasing in valuation with no direct correlation to performance.

The reason for the long intro was to make a case for the fact that outside a handful of franchises in the NFL, the rest are just as dysfunctional as the Chargers, and operate solely for the purpose of their share of TV revenue, and the rise in their franchise value. It's a gated community, and the moment someone sells a house for a record price, the value of every house in the community goes up, regardless of the state it's in. There are many franchises in the NFL that your post applies to, if you just change the names! I can do a similar post for the Browns, Bengals, Jaguars, Titans, Texans, Rams, Bills, Jets, etc....even the Cowboys!! You can argue that the Chargers are the most egregious violators of the rules that govern free market principles, and that may very well be true; but I can assure you that they're not the only ones!
