I expect the Padres to try and unload Hosmer and Myers and probably add in a catcher.
Padres will seek to get Austin Meadows OF.
With rosters staying at 28 vs. 26 for first month of the season,
I suspect Myers and Hosmer will be played very little, if at all.
Being held back for trade possibilities.
I think Alfaro makes the team. Cartinia is included in a trade for an OF.

I suspect if this had opened up in sunny San Diego,
some fan would have no doubt jumped up, and yelled,
“It's still Hosmer! Dammit!”

Abrams,,,,,,now you see him, now you don't. Pending the trade rumors floating around, I think he makes the 40. Your initial rooster failed to crow "AAAAAAABRAAAAAAAMS" .....maybe tomorrow morning will wake up to a different rooster call. Gore should make it too. Preller is preening.
