I've lived in Barbados, on and off, for about 15 years. There, they celebrate "Old Years Night" instead of "New Years Eve", and it's not the same without the snow, especially in a tropical setting...but in all those years, I never fully understood the meaning of "Old Years Night".

If there was ever a time to celebrate the PASSING of a year instead of the start of a new one, this would be it!

I hope everyone's Old Years Night is filled with joy and hope as they enter in to the New Year!
