Pitching Matchup for Game 1:

SD: RHP Woody Williams (4-2, 3.15 ERA)
Williams has shown no ill effects since his return from a torn calf muscle, posting a 2.96 ERA, striking out 11 and walking just three in his four starts since coming back from the disabled list.

COL: RHP Josh Fogg (7-5, 4.25 ERA)
Fogg is in the midst of his best month this season, posting a 2.70 ERA over three starts in July. The right-hander hasn't finished a month with an ERA below four so far this season.

The Snakes and Midgets already lost-so they can make some SERIOUS ground here!!!

Correction: We were winning game one until Woodward let the stoopid Crocks catch up to 6, then Hoffy blew a save again in the bottom of the 9th with 2 frickin OUTS.

Then the new guy gave up the game weiner...

Yeah I know. Those two errors didn't help much either.

Why is that the defense seems to have a let down when Woody is on the hill? :icon_shrug:

Didnt seem like the total defense, mostly Mike Cameron.

He went 0 for 5, with 4 K, earning a platinum sombrero and looked like krap in the outfield. I know it says one error, but he also let another one go by...cost us 3 runs that I know of.

Bowen had to avoid the ump, who seemed to not know how to get out of the way, when he tried to grab that foul pop.

Coors Field is such an aberration...

I tell my Catchers that I will make my first move based on their first move. If they start off by moving towards thier right side, I am going left. But dont sit there and fake me out. I will move, and I am moving!

But there just seems to be a time and place that no matter what you do, its wrong
