Believe me, this time last year these myopians were looking hard at Merriman, and laughing when he held out of the May mini-camp. As he progressed on to become the DROY, they fretted and moaned about how they could've had him! :lol:smoothk said:I love it, but the fact of the matter is you can't just look at Rivers. We has Chargers fans have already won. We have a bonified SuperStar in Merriman thanks to them. So Rivers is just the icing on top of the cake. Right now Manning is on the verge, but has I looked at some the throws and reads and check downs by Rivers. It can be safely said that our guy is on the verge as well.
P.s. LT didn't even play, think of the possiblities.:icon_banana:
:icon_banana: :icon_toast:Lets see,
Eli or (Rivers, Merriman, Nate Kaeding, and Romen Oben) and what was the score last year?
Please don't be haten, be celibratin, the deals done and the past is the past.
Lets move on and hope the teams meet in the SB.
No, they think they won because AJ originally asked that Osi Umenyiora be part of the trade and their GM balked and gave us their 2005 1st round pick instead! :lol:MtlBoltsFan said:Giants fans are almost as dumb as Buffalo fans. Bottom line is we absolutely raped them on draft day 2004. Merriman Rivers Kaeding and Oben for Sheli are you kidding me
Good man.Lancer 1 said:Yep,
I post there as "Frightening Lightning" and I'm a constant thorn in their sides!
Seriously, anyone paying attention would laugh in their face if they tried to trade Osi for Shawne. Osi is a nice player, but Merriman's potential is sickening. If the 2005 draft were redone after the fact today, there isn't a player that was drafted that any GM in football would have selected before Merriman. He is an absolute freak.Lancer 1 said:No, they think they won because AJ originally asked that Osi Umenyiora be part of the trade and their GM balked and gave us their 2005 1st round pick instead!
I could give a rats *** about Sheli Manning and the rest of the Mannings for all I care and I love to see and I would pay good money to see the Gnat fans jump off the Brooklyn Bridge and cry when Philip Rivers hoist lombardi high in the sky and they don't.WonderSlug said:I'm just waiting for all the Gnats fans that will be lining up on the Brooklyn Bridge, ready to jump off, after Rivers guides us to the Super Bowl trophy while Eli is still struggling to get his game girdle on.
:lol:nickelbolt said:Look at that schedule the Gnats have this year... first 8 of 9 games are gonna be pure hell for them, considering the defenses of some of those teams: REALITY CHECK
Not only did they get hammered in the draft 2 years ago, but now they get to experience the hell of a difficult post-playoff season schedule.
