Fox Sports: The next Gates?

It seems just like yesterday when former Kent St. University star basketball player Antonio Gates burst on to the scene in just his second season and had a breakout year for the San Diego Chargers. The former undrafted free agent is now recognized as one of the top two tight ends in the NFL.

Gates one of the top two tight ends? Who's better? Who's even equal? Gates is the best TE in the NFL period!

 - Dude - watch.

All the WR's now on the squad have the proverbial green light to hit the jets and not worry about their arteries hardening waiting for the ball to drop from the heavens on the go routes or post patterns.

I have been hammering this issue since - forever - and now it is sink or swim.

The "Chosen One" has arrived. :)
Yes he has. I'm behind Rivers 100%. Rivers has always been a winner. It's intangables like that that make me like him. I suspect your right and he'll do very well. I sure as hell hope that's the case. I still like Brees also and wish him well with the Saints.

Rivers will make us forget Brees very soon. I been waiting 46 years for someone who resembled "it" and this has to be our time otherwise we are going to lose this team to another city and that would be hideous.

Rivers and crew have to pull the rabbit out of the hat and get us the Lombardi to get the stadium vote and voters frothing at the mouth to get a deal done.

When the Chargers take home the Lombardi, one of my life long dreams will have been realized.

This is my biggest goal before I die.

And then when I die, I have it in my Last Will and Testament to have my ashes spread over the football field at the halftime of a Chargers/Raiders game. Mom thinks I am nuts but what does she know ? :icon_wink:
