The offseason is officially here.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Broncos and Ravens have a deal in place to send veteran quarterback Joe Flacco from Baltimore to Denver. The trade will become official on March 13, the first day of the 2019 league year.

The Ravens were expected to trade Flacco this offseason, but the Broncos weren’t widely viewed as a potential destination. However, it was Flacco who launched a desperation rainbow to Jacoby Jones at Mile High Stadium in the 2012 playoffs, forcing what would become double overtime and ultimately beating the Broncos en route to a Super Bowl XLVII championship, with Flacco winning the MVP award.
Then there’s the fact that new Broncos coach Vic Fangio worked for the Ravens from 2006 through 2008, overlapping with Flacco by two years.
Flacco is due to receive a base salary of $18.5 million in 2019. Trading him triggers $16 million in dead money for the Ravens, but creates a net cap savings for 2019 of $9.5 million.

This makes me happy. It tells me Mr Ed is becoming impatient already, and thus more & more like Al Davis. Head coach is soon to be a revolving door.

The downward spiral begins.

26 game winning drive to Rivers 30.......in 11 years vs 15 years.

Super Bowl MVP........vs. Mr. Lord of No Rings.

He'll win more for you.

Did #17 ever even get his team to a Super Bowl?
In 2018 the Broncos had the 4th best QB in the division. With the addition of Flacco, the Broncos have...the 4th best QB in the division.

As far as Rivers versus Flacco goes, there is not a single NFL GM that would take Flacco over Rivers.

It's really irrelevant as long as the GOAT is still playing. No one in the AFC has a chance to win a ring.

Let's see....Rivers had teams of 13-4....14-2.....11-5...13-3.....12-4.....
And you know what he has done? Zero titles. Zero Rings.

But them Bolt fans think he's great.......Tom Brady is great. Rivers is great only in season. Post season, anyone is better, Flacco to Dilfer.

Teams win championships, not individual players. Players get rings for being on a team that won a championship. Championships and rings do not equal greatness as a player. A player that has a ring is not necessarily better than one who does not have one. Dilfer was not better than Marino. Brandon Jacobs was not better than LaDainian Tomlinson. Eli Manning is not better than Rivers. Joe Flacco is not better than Rivers.

As for the great Charger teams, they were great because of Rivers, who is on pace to retire as a top 10 all time QB in career passer rating, a top 5 QB in passing TDs and a top 10 QB in career passing yards. The stats demonstrate a sustained high level of production over many years. That is what he has done. What the Chargers have done is largely irrelevant when it comes to what Rivers has done.

Joe Flacco is underrated. He’s better than Keenum. If the Denver defense gets back to where it was, Denver will be good.
That's the whole point. Denver's defense is in steep decline compared to what it was when they won the Super Bowl. They finished 22nd in yards allowed and 13th in points allowed in 2018. Flacco is not underrated. He is overrated. Some people think he is good because he was on a Super Bowl winning team. The reality is that he is the guy that could not beat out Lamar Jackson, who is not a good passer.
