I don't know about you guys but I'm doing the same thing I've done for three drafts in a row; go to the Mighty Double XX party at the Hall of Champions

Anyone interested in participating? We could have a Bolttalk table which would be a blast!:icon_banana:

Its a bunch of people set up in the hall of champions, they do a bbq (I think last year it was Randy Jones's) and you listen to coach and philly billy (who knows his draft stuff) and their live broadcast. And u watch the draft on tv too. Its alot of fun just getting together with dozens of draft nuts

Maybe go to draft central for the first round pick then Hooters later for the second round pick --- play it by ear in other words.

this seems like a good plan
stay til the 25th pick or so, or maybe just til the Bolts pick, then we go to hooters

Yeah....this makes most sense. Chargers would be picking around noon I think so it would be perfect timing. There is a chance I will have to work at the last minute and not make this gig.

interesting piece of info from chargers.com

Chargers fans interested in watching the 2006 NFL Draft can attend the third-annual NFL Draft Day Party from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the San Diego Hall of Champions in Balboa Park. Parking and admission are free, however fans can buy reserved seats for $15 that come with a free beverage and a raffle ticket for a chance to win some great prizes. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. Several Chargers will appear at the NFL Draft Day Party, including 2004 second-round draft pick Igor Olshansky, and the Mighty XX will broadcast draft coverage live from the Hall of Champions throughout the day.
