I am so stoked about the defense and it's potential this year. Sometimes even more so than about what we will be doing on offense with Rivers at the helm. :)

The defense will be incredible IF:

Everyone stays healthy.
Wilhelm gets the nod over Edwards.
Marty lets Merriman play every down.
Our dimeback can step it up.
Shaun Phillips is used as much as possible.
McCree knows the system inside out.

Rivers will make Eric Parker a 1000 yard receiver this year, bank it.

I wouldn't be surprised if we had TWO 1000 yard receivers this year. It would be the first time since the Joiner + Jefferson days.

I think Gates' production will go down to 850-900 yards and KMac will probably be good for 700 VJ for 450-500 Kassim for 200. Rivers should hover slightly above 3.2k yards.

I think Rivers will be able to average 230 yards passing per game, for a grand total of almost 3700 yards over 16 games.

I think Gates gets about 1000, KMac gets 1000, Parker gets 700 again, and VJ gets 400 yards, Woods gets 200, and LT gets 400 or so.
