I don't follow the Aztecs (or football) anymore but I checked out some of their home opener last week to see the new stadium and they're still running the stone age two yards and a cloud of dust offense that I remember from 5 years ago. If they get down by two scores, they're toast. How does a Coryell school go back in time like that?
Brady Choke is on his way out. The whole QB controversy ignited this powder keg. He was asked about Lucas Johnson, last year’s QB and bowl game hero transferring out. He said that Johnson wanted to leave. Johnson’s mom tweeted last night that Choke was lying and Hoke forced him out. SDSU is now averaging 75 yards passing per game while Johnson is slinging the ball at Montana.

Michigan beats OSU AT Columbus , blowout. First time they've won there in 22 years. Harbaugh turned that program around 180. Shows the difference between a good coach and Hoke. But no matter what they aren't winning any national championship....they always get blown out by the SEC big boys and will likely once again.
I am not so sure this year. Clearly Georgia is the best team but Michigan is right there. Real close. Georgia can have problems scoring so it will be a tight game.
I'm not a Harbaugh fan but have to give him his due.....if he somehow wins a national championship at UM that is a major accomplishment few could do. I"m pulling for Georgia so therefore UM will win.

I've always said this about Harbaugh....he doens't have the right temperament.....he either outwardly or inwardly projects or reeks of getting too intense. So during games and before too over the top with pressure. It's exactly what always happened to Marty......at some point the players, fearing making a mistake, MAKE one and blow the damn big games. Harbaugh's Niners always came up short exactly in that way. The first time it happened was in a NFC top see game and the Niners had it won until the NYG punted and the SF returner fumbled and NYG recovered and won the game. Others were making the dumb decision to bring in CK and replace Alex Smith ...no need...they were destined to win the SB that year. Smith was fine. He was very effficient and the whole team was behind him. So CK throws a disastrous pick in the big game to lose it......I think that was the one where Richard Sherman picked it off and butt hurt receiver (can't remember the flash in the pan's name now) wouldn't shake his hand and pushed him away at the end. lmao.
Another shocker may be developing.....OSU is beating UGA right now in the 3rd 35-24. I figured UGA was a lock. If OSU wins the national championship after losing to UM in the conference.....UM will wonder WTF happened lmao. I kind of like TCU....they have some speedy players on D......looks like they shocked the UM QB and had a couple of pick 6's. Huge.

Harbie oughta jump right now to DEN and coach there.....they could use a decent HC. Pretty sure his first move would be replace over the hill Russell Wilson and clean house with a lot of the laggards there. After a few years there he'd have them competing for the top of the division. I don't really like that guy , too intense and chokes the big games because of it...like Marty used to. His antics on the sidelines when he was at Stanford were ridiculous..doing freefalls onto his back if he disagreed with an official call lmao. He's less intense now but still. Maybe in DEN there is enough weed going around he can use it to relax lolololol. Toke up a blunt on the sidelines during games.
The one good thing about Harbie is he can turn a failing program around very quickly....whether it be college or NFL. GO. TO. DENVER.
He’d have to fix Russell, or at least try, with all that money tied into him he has to work out. I think Russell is still serviceable, just need the right coach to play to his strengths and minimize the aging weaknesses he has. Harbaugh could probably do it. That said, the rumor is he’s looking to jump to Carolina.
yup...that's what Hackett was supposed to be there for. I think Pete Carroll beat the shit out of DEN in that trade lmao. He knew his time was coming. I think he can still play but his days of scrambling and beating teams are likely over.....unless there is some system that works perfectly for him and the horses (or donkeys) are there. Yeah maybe Carolina makes more sense for Harbie if he thinks that's a better organization with better odds to turn things around and if he likes that area to live in better. I think his wife had some pull re: where to live.....she liked SF....doubt she would now given how that city is a dumpster fire. I think she likes Ann Arbor. Carolina probably a lot nicer than Denver to live in. Denver turning into another shithole as well.
