My alma mater, Cal State Chico, had a football team (they sucked) my first two years of college and then ended the program. I have adopted Ole Miss as my college football team as that's where my brother-in-law and three of his kids went to school (one currently). They have a condo (second home) down there and our family goes down for all the home games.

yeah that and other positions and the head coach. They've had some stellar RB's though obviously. I don't think they ever will be a top ranked team unless they somehow get into a better conference like the Pac 12 and can recruit top talent if they can sign a great HC who can make them a top team in the Pac12. Probably never gonna happen. SDSU and that crappy new stadium personifies the small town mentality of the city.....dumb council and the corruption of that whole stadium fiasco in dealing with the NFL will keep the town from ever having a truly awesome football program...whether college or pro.

Michigan is overrated just like the rest of the Big 10. The Aztecs play in and are members of the Mountain West. It is what it is. Better than no football or shiatty football thike the FUdeans.
agree, Big 10 (12) is overrated when compared with the SEC....just about all of em are by comparison. But Mountain West is like 3rd tier down so really it's not a great comparison to the upper 2 tiers (just a rough breakdown). Yes it is what it is. And Hoke is who he always was....a jerk for the way he left for greener pastures at UM and left his recruits in the lurch....he was gonna make a big name for himself and fell flat on his face and made a fool of himself there. Ok so by your analysis of the Big10(12) being overrated , what does that make Hoke if he completely failed in that conference? Yes it's all relative....Hoke looks like a good coach again in the Mountain West against a bunch of tomato cans. He'll likely ditch SDSU again in another failed selfish attempt to make himself appear relevant.
