Sad news! My heart goes out to his family.

The Chargers family mourns the loss of Stan Otsuka, a six-year member of the team’s security staff who passed away Wednesday afternoon at the age of 50.

“Stan loved working for the Chargers more than anything,” Chargers Director of Security Dick Lewis said. “It showed in the quality of his work. He was always willing to do anything asked of him and went the extra mile in everything that he did. We’re all going to miss him.”

Otsuka had dedicated his life to helping others. In addition to his role with the Bolts, he served as a director at the Heartland Rehabilitation Center where he helped individuals overcome addictions....
