Right, but Trumpet is suggesting that Dea could get control of the trust, then have control of the team.
Correct. Dea has the best attorneys for this task IMHO - Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton.

If this case would have stayed in the courts 100%, I have zero doubt Dean & Michael would lose hands down. I read the entire legal filing (yes an admitted sickness at 300+ pages) but it was worth it. Dean is basically fucked the way I see it. One of the Spanos grandchildren has already filed a lawsuit wondering where the fuck is their Trust income money promised.

Control is the issue. That's too much money to have no control and an idiot in charge.
This is where Dea totally castrated her brothers. Her legal filing was a freaking bombshell laying the legal leverage groundwork prior to the NFL's arbitration. Dea exposed all sorts of fraud and self dealing.

For instance, how does Dean buy a private $30 million jet while the Spanos Trust is going insolvent or is in technical bankruptcy ? (that actually happened) ---- That shit does not fly pardon the pun. The trustees (Dean and Dea) are fiduciaries who are held to a higher legal standard and for financially fucking up.

I can see the NFL granting Dea control and Dean can maintain a minority team interest with no control.

Not only "YES" but FUCK "YES"

Dea filed to have Dean removed as Trustee and Michael as Successor Trustee for breaches up and out the ass. Michael was listing Spanos land without Dea's knowledge and the bitch found out and confronted her prick brothers and the CPA for the Spanos company. That is called trust fraud. Dea is not even welcome to fly in Dean's jet to attend games or sit in the family luxury box. Fuck 'em all and enjoy the weenie roast I say. In the next 12 months or so I predict the Chargers will have new majority ownership. These fuckers are cashing out and back to selling burritos.

awesome if it comes to pass. My hope would be that a decent SD owner would step in and offer Dea the money to buy the majority ownership and she sells to that person or group. I don't know who would qualify as a SD committed owner. Certainly don't know anyone in the football game who is as good an owner as Seidler is for the Padres.....he's unique. That is what would be needed though. Going all the way back thru Chug history.....only Baron Hilton was a good owner and let Sid Gilman run the show as HC/GM. Eugene Klein was horseheaded....dumbfuck who during the non salary cap era cheaped out just before getting over the hump and started unloading his very best D players, not to mention letting John Jefferson, the alltime favorite WR after Lance Alworth , go. He was a favorite of Dan Fouts. Then the spanos family needs no explaining...that is all very clearly cemented in SD history.....the worst of all the owners, a traitor to the city.

So a group or individual would need to buy them out. I was on board with Joseph Tsai as a possiblity but have since backed off that....I think he's got baggage related to his dealings with China. But he seemed to be loyal to SD anyways. Well the sad part is even if someone DID want to come back to SD , MV is no longer in the picture, it could be expanded but what owner is gonna want a hybrid college/pro stadium that can't host a SB???? That whole thing down there should have been a major complex of sporting facilities...football/soccer.....sports arena......all for both pro and SDSU and then surrounding hotels, condos, shopping malls etc etc. Very lucrative place that would have been far better as a media center for the NFL than fucking Inglewood. But whoever buys out that team would have to have huge wealth to finance their own crib here. I think only way it could get done now. If a recession on the way, all that much tougher.

But I don't know, worst thing would be another half-committed owner who just is there for the revenue share and doesn't ever field a truly champion quality team. I'd rather the NFL not return at all if that's the future of the NFL in this town. Eff that. Been there done that. And I think that league has lost some lustre in the eyes of a lot of fans......seems as though the rules and everything about it is a big question mark as to objectivity. Way too many subjective zebra calls are ruining the game. It's actually become very boring for me to watch that fucking league. lol I used to be as rabid as they come for the Bolts. Maybe I'm just to fuckin old .

Dea floated Jeff Bezos name in the court filing which has been "stayed" pending the NFL's arbitration process now underway. Bezos got denied by Snyder to bid on the Foreskins so Bezos I figure is a bit NFL butt hurt and looking strike. Get even if you will. Chula Vista has land. Mission Bay had a "floating stadium" idea way back when the Murph was designed in the 60's.

Expansion of the league is coming and by the next CBA I predict there will be 4 more teams joining the NFL. London, Mexico, Los Angeles @ Sofi, San Francisco. Bolts return to San Diego. Coca Cola left but returned. MacArthur returned to the Phillipines .... Houston returned. Bell bottoms returned. TrumpetMan returned and so did baby bazeeebus. So the Bolts will return just like herpes. Makes you wonder if you want that shit to come back ?

Eli finally spills the beans.

Manning clearly made the right decision in hindsight going on to win two Super Bowls and becoming a Giants legend in the process, all whilst watching the Chargers never even make it to the final game of the year. If there is anything to be learnt from that infamous day, the Panthers may want to check with whoever they plan to draft this year that they do actually want to play for them.

and the chugs make another boner decision in the 1st round.....draft another WR...they must have Matt Millenitits. This WR has the downside of the dropsies...for no good reason he just drops the fucking ball lmao.

Chargering! I was listening to the radio last night and one of the hosts said Chug fans were livid about the pick lol, calling him Mike Williams 2.0.

I think they missed out on all the top O linemen who were taken ahead of them and settled for the 4th ranked WR in the draft lmfao. He WAS projected in the 1st round but so what? How many times has that front office blown 1st round picks? This is likely another. They especially have a horrendous record in the lower part of the 1st round. Jason Varrett? Those O linemen they took that year Oline was really thin? One of em was bottom of the 1st IIRC. Turned out to be a zero and bust. I didn't even watch the draft but it's good to know the 3 fuckheads, johnny boy, testiscolo, and AssGenius are still at work evaluating talent lololololol

Fk Dean Spanos etc.

Can't remember which Chargers players said it....maybe Rodney Harrison ??? ..... but they said the fans are "idiots" .... and I agreed as the idiot on the trumpet. Truth hurts but not so much when you've had a boat load of adult beverages.

Murdaugh releases a public statement saying he has resigned from his family's law firm to enter rehab and that he "made a lot of decisions that I truly regret."
Anyone who kills his wife and son and considers it a bad decision
and worthy of regret, takes entitlement to whole new level.

I was watching the show “Barry” tonight on HBO and there was a scene where the LAPD were raiding a Dave and Busters to capture some gangsters in their “hideout” (you have to watch the show) but it ended up being regular patrons they were beating down, cuffing and arresting. Later they said “no gangsters, just a bunch of Chargers fans and a guy in a Houston Oilers hat”. They got it backwards, more realistic if it were a bunch of Oilers fans and one guy in a Chargers hat.
