CBS Adds The Alliance Conference Championship Game to Broadcast Lineup on Sunday, April 21 at 12:00 PM ET
San Antonio Commanders Home Game vs. Memphis Express to Air on CBS on Saturday, April 6 at 12:00 PM ET

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – March 14, 2019 – CBS Sports is adding two additional Alliance of American Football games to CBS Television Network as the league continues to evolve at the halfway point of its inaugural season.
CBS will now broadcast one of the Conference Championship games on Sunday, April 21 (12:00 PM, ET), in advance of the Network’s primetime broadcast of the inaugural Alliance Championship Game on Saturday, April 27 (8:00 PM, ET).
Further, on Saturday, April 6 (12:00 PM, ET), CBS will also televise the Memphis Express against the San Antonio Commanders at the Alamodome. CBS Sports Network will televise an encore of the game on Sunday at 4:00 PM, ET.
“Our focus for season one has been continued growth on and off the field. The addition of two games to CBS is a result of strong fan engagement across all platforms that continues to increase week-on-week, and the quality of football being played during a time when the most popular sport in the U.S. has traditionally been on hiatus,” said Charlie Ebersol, co-founder and CEO, The Alliance. “We look forward to reaching even more fans when the stakes are at its highest, as teams fight for a chance to be a part of history in the first-ever Alliance of American Football Championship.”

Huh. I choose to take this as good news: that CBS is gaining faith that people will care, next month. :)

Just 6 days between Conference Championship games (4/21) & Alliance Championship Game (4/27)
sure is a departure from the 14 day Super Bowl break we've become accustomed to...
