BoltTalk Adopt a Charger

Someone started this on the UT last year, and I think it was a grand idea. So I thought we should have our own version here.

The concept is simple. You pick a Charger player to be your adopted boi. Your task is then to sing his praises and defend your boi against all comers. Promising to never falter in the face of attacking post, never let loud and opinionated posters (you know who you are ;)) drive you into submission where your boi is concerned. You will be the bastion of truth and information for your boi.

So choose a Charger, put your name on the line, and lets watch some football!

My Boi, is none other than Antonio Cromartie! I hated the pick when it happened, yelled to the heavens when people were saying he would be a DROY this year. But my boi has skillz. He has changed the mind of arguably one of the most hard headed Bolts fans there is. I will defend my boi against all, especially the vile Hornblower who has not yet shown my boi the proper respect. So say I!

Who is your boi!?

I was gonna take Lekkerkerker - but I didn't want you guys to make fun of me.
I'll have Malcom Floyd, I so want him to be a success even though his parents didn't think real hard when naming him after his brother.

With nearly two full years on the practice squad under his belt, Malcom Floyd has worked hard to earn playing time in 2006. He’s added nearly 25 pounds of muscle to his frame through an intense workout and conditioning program, and he hopes the extra size will lead to passes being thrown his way when the regular season rolls around.

Malcom’s hobbies include playing basketball, boogie boarding at Mission Beach and playing the newest video games. He was an all-conference basketball player in high school and his team won an intramural championship while he was in college at Wyoming.

2005: Spent Weeks 1-12 on Chargers’ practice squad…inactive Weeks 13-16.

2004: Started against Kansas City Jan. 2 and caught first-career touchdown pass of 13 yards from Philip Rivers…was also Rivers’ first-career touchdown pass…set up second-quarter touchdown catch by Ryan Krause with 27-yard catch to Chiefs’ 10-yard line that led to touchdown three plays later…saw action as reserve in Wild Card Playoff game vs. New York Jets.
