    The local television blackout for Sunday’s Chargers-Raiders game at Qualcomm Stadium has been lifted. The game will be televised live in Southern California on CBS (KFMB-TV, Channel 8 in San Diego and KCBS-TV, Channel 2 in Los Angeles). Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. PST.

    A limited number of Club Level tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Chargers’ ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium, online at www.Chargers.com or by calling (619) 220-TIXS (8497).

    With a near-capacity crowd expected for this Sunday’s game, fans should expect delays getting into the parking lot and into the stadium.

    Key information:

    * The parking lot opens at 8:00 a.m. and could close as early as 11 a.m.
    * Stadium gates will open at 11 a.m. for General Ticket Holders and 10 a.m. for Club Seat and Suite Ticket Holders
    * Fans should carpool and arrive early or take the Trolley or bus (www.sdcommute.com)
    * If driving, avoid Interstate 15 south. Use I-8 to Qualcomm Way or SR-163 to Friars Rd. east
    * For fans coming from Orange and Los Angeles Counties, take the Amtrak Surfliner (www.amtrak.com)
    * NO GLASS BOTTLES in the parking lot
    * NO TAILGATING OUTSIDE YOUR STALL … Police will be writing citations for violations
    * Get to the turnstiles NO LATER than 12 p.m. in preparation for “pat-down” search procedures
    * At the gates, all tickets are now scanned to ease entry and deter counterfeit tickets
    * NO SMOKING IN THE STADIUM … Designated smoking areas are located outside Gates O-1 and O-2.

    Fans also are reminded of changes in parking procedures in the parking lot. Fans looking for general parking should enter the parking lot on the west side of the stadium via Friars Road. Fans may also enter the lot for general parking at Gate 1 along San Diego Mission Road. Fans that enter the parking lot through Gate 1 will be directed where to park, similar to Disneyland-style parking. General parking is $20 per vehicle.

    Fans driving recreational vehicles (RVs) are required to park in the RV lot. The entrance to the RV Lot is accessed through Gate 1 along San Diego Mission Road. RV parking is limited and fans are encouraged to have a reserved RV permit upon arrival. They can be pre-purchased for $100 by calling (619) 281-PARK. Without a reserved permit the cost to park an RV on game day will be $150.

    The parking lot Main Gate, located at the bottom of Mission Village Road, is for reserved and disabled parking only. RVs are also not allowed through the Main Gate.

    Overflow parking is located at the Pacific Bell building off Northside Drive (west of the stadium), San Diego State University, Marriott Mission Valley and the Town and Country Hotel.

    For questions regarding stadium parking, fans can call (619) 281-PARK or Ace Parking at (619) 281-6316.

    As part of a new alcohol policy in place at Qualcomm Stadium this season to provide a safer drinking environment at the stadium, all fans purchasing alcohol will be required to provide proper identification regardless of age for EACH and EVERY transaction. Signs will be posted at each concession stand and cashiers will wear buttons that read “WE ID, EVERYONE, EVERY TIME!” This policy will be in place for the duration of the season.

    A CHANGE FOR THIS WEEK’S GAME: only one alcoholic beverage may be purchased per customer and all alcohol sales will cease at the start of the third quarter.

    The easiest and fastest way to reach the stadium on game day is via the San Diego Trolley or the Chargers Express Bus. Fans can log on to www.sdcommute.com for more information about the Trolley and the Chargers Express Bus.

    The San Diego Trolley’s Green Line drops fans off just outside Gate K at Qualcomm Stadium. The Green Line runs east and west between the Old Town Trolley Station to the west and the Santee Town Center to the east. Fans traveling to the game from the south or east can ride the trolley’s Blue and Orange Lines to the Green Line. Green Line Trains operate every five to seven minutes, starting three hours before the game and immediately after the game. Round-trip tickets range in price from $3.00-$6.00.

    The Green Line stops with the most available free parking include Hazard Center’s lower level (Friars Road and Frazee), the Old Town Trolley Station (Pacific Highway at Taylor Street), Grantville Station (Interstate 8 at Mission Gorge Road) and the El Cajon Transit Center (Main Street at Marshall). Fans can also park for a nominal cost and ride the Trolley from San Diego State University, the Mission Valley Marriott and the Town & Country Hotel in Mission Valley. Parking rates vary. Fans should purchase Trolley tickets before boarding the Trolley to the stadium.

    And the Budweiser Power Party located in Lot F2 is the perfect tailgate opportunity for fans arriving early on the Trolley. The Power Party kicks off at 9 a.m. and features a giant Jumbotron screen and monitors showing all of the early NFL games.

    The MTS Chargers Express Bus is another convenient way to get to the stadium on game day. Bus fare is $6.00 one-way or $10.00 round-trip. Bus service begins two hours before game time. The last departure to the stadium will leave each site 45 minutes before kickoff. Following the game, Chargers Express Buses will leave the stadium 20 minutes after the game ends. The Express Bus has five pick-up locations:

    * Kearny Mesa Traffic Court (Clairemont Mesa Blvd. east of SR 163).
    * Governor Drive & I-805 Park & Ride
    * Spring St. Trolley Station (Spring St. north of Hwy. 94)
    * Mira Mesa Park & Ride (Interstate 15 and Mira Mesa Blvd.)
    * Chula Vista High School (820 4th Ave. in Chula Vista )

    Fans in the North County have the option of riding the North County Express BREEZE Bus, which services both the Interstate 5 & 15 corridors from the North County. BREEZE Buses originate at the Oceanside Transit Center along Interstate 5 and the Escondido Transit Center along Interstate 15. Both routes have several convenient pickup locations along the way. Round-trip fares are $12.00 for adults and $4.00 for youth 12 and under. More information on the BREEZE Bus is available at www.gonctd.com. The BREEZE Bus pick-up locations are as follows:

    Interstate 5 & Coastal Route Departure Locations

    * Oceanside Transit Center
    * Plaza Camino Real
    * La Costa Park & Ride
    * Birmingham Park & Ride

    Interstate 15 & Inland Route Departure Locations

    * Escondido Transit Center
    * Felicita Plaza (Escondido Blvd.)
    * Beethoven Park & Ride

    Yep and the local bailbondsmen hire extra staff too.:icon_mrgreen:

    I can't wait til Sunday! Also it looks like no local buisiness or tribe had to buy extras for it to be lifted. Good on you SD!
