Looking a lot better than Wyoming early tonight. The Aztecs crowd is into it, giving a 24-second countdown for SDSU and an incorrect countdown for Wyoming.
We were #4 that year too. That isn't from memory. I just saw that fun fact somewhere yesterday.

Our next game is the the Pit in New Mexico. We hardly ever win there. In fact, New Mexico is pretty much the only team that wins often in the Pit. That team is undefeated at home this year. This is definitely our toughest game of the regular season.
Speaking of the Pit: any fellow alumnus remember what the Pit at San Diego State is. I spent quite a bit of time carrying camera equipment from the Communications department up and down those steps. Man - I was in shape back then. Now I feel like the puddle the Wicked Witch melted into after Dorothy dumped water on her.

Based on the play by play the Aztecs blew it open with about 8 minutes left after is was close. The rebounds got lopsided in favor of the Aztecs, both defensive and offensive and they started hitting some 3 pointers as well. Came thru down the stretch.
