Hey Dog!
Sounds like Foley was definitely over the legal limit. Not good! My question is this.....how does one get shot in the back of one's leg if one is "approaching" an officer? While I do not condone Foley's behavior in this huge mess, something just does not seem right to me with the officers statement.:icon_huh:

1+1 is not equalling two in this instance.:icon_huh:

My opinion is that they the police deparment is charging Foley to make themselves look good until the civil court case is brought up then watch the feathers fly.

Foley was doing a jumping and spinning back kick and on his rotation - he got nailed. :bolt:

Yeah does not passs the smell test.

I've stayed outta all the Foley threads lately and I'm sure this has been addressed, but Police Academy 101 : when an officer fires his gun it is shoot to kill. Yet this guy was obviously aiming for Foley's legs.
I'm with ya. I wonder if Foley turned to run and the cop just shot at him? There is NO way anyone is shot on the back of the legs "approaching". No way!

Hey Mr. TT!
I wonder if it will EVEN get to civil trial! Like I said before, I do not condone Foley's ignorance in this whole charade, HOWEVER I have learned the hard way how cops work.

They sure don't! I know, I know, I know....drinking and driving is not such a wise choice. But, I have been on the other side of the cops and the way they work things. Not me personnal but you know what I mean.
