anyone going to KC?

If so, hit me up with a message. I know me and at least SuperCharger17 from one of the other boards will be making the road trip up this year. There is usually a 100 or so Charger fans up there but not much organized so lets get it together this year. The weather has to be better than last year right?

Leave me your email in a message and we'll get something planned. :icon_banana: :icon_toast: :icon_party:

Cool...hopefully the weather is better this year. If you don't already have tailgate plans send me a PM or something. We're trying to organize something.
You already have tickets?

I'm not sure if I'm coming up the night before of the morning of the game. It's only a 4 hour drive from here, so usually we just leave early and get back late and make a one-day deal out of it.
The team hotel shouldn't be too hard to figure out. I'll see if I can get that for you.
You're invited to whatever tailgate we get worked out if you are interested!

With the SF game over, and while we are still basking in the glow of the blowout, I thought I'd bump this thread in preparation for next week.

Yeah it looks like there are a few from chargers.com coming for the game, but nothing organized. I see you over there bigcarson50.

Did you get rooms at the team hotel?

No it was sold out, but I am thinking about heading over there at some point, just to see what I can see.

Looks like we're shooting for Lot C if anyone sees it here. Gates open 3.5 hours before kickoff. There are more people on chargers.com talking about it now.

Adams Mark is walking distance from the stadium, has parking discounts and I think drink coupons for their bar if you stay there.

There are nicer places not too far away, with shuttle services.

Go early, experience the tailgate. Act civil and you'll find Chiefs fans(most) good hosts.

I think we'll have at least a few dozen Charger fans there if only the bare minimum stop by...not a bad showing for a KC tailgate thrown together at the last minute. There are a lot of people talking about it on chargers.com.
Just updating this board in case anyone sees this and wants to stop by that day. The more the better.

Represent us proud, Sooner!

One more thing: You can leave your "Drew Brees Sucks!" banner at home this year.

thats alot of red youre up against. and although this chief fan says they are hospitibal, he cant speak for 70 thousand people, it only take 5% of those people to ruin your time if you dont have the tolerence. personally i thrive off it, alcohol or no.

You guys come up next year and we'll blow this tailgate party out of the water. As it is, I think this will be the biggest one every for Chargers fans at Arrowhead. On the Chargers.com board there is probably close to 50 people posting that they are going...who knows on the extras and lurkers. It will be fun to get together with the Bolt fans.

Not to throw a monkey wrench but Jan 1st 2007 will dictate a lot of travel plans for me and maybe a few others.

For instance, if another city wins over the Chargers - fuc them. I will not travel to another city to see a lame duck team.

The Bolts aren't going anywhere. After we win the SB this year, their will be a groundswell of support for the team, and any politician who wants a future in San Diego will have to drop to their knees and fellate everyone Alex Spanos tells them to.
