    'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
    Bengals fans wondered, who would be their next louse?
    The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
    Please Mr. Owens no more loogies in the air.
    The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
    Hopefully without visions of Albert Haynesworth stomping on heads.
    Mamma in her kerchief and I in my cap
    Seeing the Lions and Raiders settle in for long winter naps.
    When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter
    Please, I asked, don't let it be Tank Johnson or anyone else with a weapons cache, for that matter;
    Away from the window, I flew like a flash
    Realizing that it's time for the playoff dash.
    The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
    Made me wonder if a losing record in the NFC might go.
    When what to my wandering eyes should appear
    A defense in Indy that didn't get smeared.
    With a runner like L.T. so lively and quick
    Can there be anybody else but the Chargers to pick?

    God, Crisco is a horrible "writer."
