Cruz is out of the lineup again Friday versus the Yankees.
Cruz hasn't drawn a start since Tuesday as he continues to struggle through a brutal month of May. The 42-year-old is batting just .147 with a .342 OPS in 36 plate appearances since the calendar flipped over from April.

Hader...Soto....sign 'em.
Definitely Hader and if Soto continues this to the break and does it clutch against the dogs/braves/mets/phils/cards etc then yeah he's likely turned it back around to his 2019-2021 form and sign him too. Agree. These will be priorities. Guys like snell, lugo, crap, dixon, sullivan, are mostly filler. They gotta get turnover that creates a winnng chemistry.

Joe really is dealing tonite....he must have some affinity for NYC.....pitched incredible against Fucky's Mets in the playoffs too. Maybe he likes the big stage feel there.

we need to finish this one off and then will hopefully then be only 6.5 GB. Hopefully gnats end up losing too, need to gain on them as well. We need to keep within striking distance of the dogs all season.

Take that to your challenge booth.
the yanks did and won lol. He was out as it showed on that last slo mo replay. Just barely but he was out. Good call.
Unless you are being sarcastic re: Jr.'s homer. Yeah that was not questionable....a bomb into the upper deck. Maybe WE are the Bronx Bombers lololol.

no question home run.....
my argument is the high tech review booth.....why not do it for every call if you wanna get it "right"? Every out call or safe call is probably under a high tech slo motion only 50% right. Why? because it just a gimmick for the fans. if you wanna to get it "right" there'd be limitless challenges.

Hader....Soto.....yes, priorities over Othani dreams.
Maybe so, yes. But I think you are overlooking who Seidler is and what his philosophy is. He doesn't look at it like you do. It may not be an either/or with him. 1) he has cancer or is surviving. 2) winning a trophy is more urgent for him than $ and more than other owners 3) he sees his equity in the ballclub as payback for his investment. It's about net worth of the club. And the guy is first and foremost astute about investments as a hedge fund manager. He knows that Ohtani adds more value to his team in terms of equity and market share than probably 5 players combined. By signing him he takes first place amongst MLB teams in the Asian market. That is a HUGE unquantifiable increase in the size of his market. Just sayin', you are not looking at it from Seidler's perspective. You may end up being surprised.

Huge statement win in the big apple.

says a lot.

let’s keep it going.
yup,,i don't care what anyone says, these are huge must win games now. We HAVE to maintain strikng distance behind the dogs this year. So this should put us at 6.5GB ....one game improved in the standings. Dogs lost to TB 9-3/ Gnats are gonna win big 12-1 over MIL. We have to keep pace and this was a good win. Keep this up now....go on a win streak. We are at 2 now.

i don't think money/salary is the factor. If Ohtani gets to true free agency, he'll have many suitors. I don't know if the Dodgers first choice is valid or not. I think the West Coast thing is. Personal friendships unknown. believe it not, maybe having Preller in there as the GM might actually be an advantage at this stage. Angels...make playoffs...he signs with them. Perfect. Angels make or do not make playoffs and he signs elsewhere, Angels will never forget that decision.
