Is he gonna pull a Prima Donna move to take a retired jersey number like Manning did with the Donks?
ha , probably.......I don't know after this many years Joe Willie is sort of out of the minds of most of the fans watching football.....our generation revered the guy....at some point you have to move on. But Rodgers is gonna maybe be there one to 2 years??? Jets aren't going anywhere....seems like a dumb choice for him. He should retire instead of just playing it out to be there. Packers are gonna suck now too.....that era for them is over I"m afraid. They were fortunate to have Farve and then Rodgers back to back......damn QB lottery they won. Love is not gonna be much at QB I think. We'll see.....they are going to the back of the pack lol

Yeah, too bad he basically burned his bridges with GB becoming a fucking hippie. I think he still has some gas left in the tank but with all the baggage he brings it’s started to negate all the positives he has.

yeah he got to headstrong and bizarre....he should have stayed a team player and McCarthy should still be there. He started changing plays on McCarthy. Dude is a great QB but if he starts making it all about himself its diminishing returns. He has spoiled his own reputation that could have been a great storybook ending but he fucked it up. I figured the Niners would go hard after him but they've burned up so many picks on McCaffrey and that horrendous selection of Trey Lance they are out of picks to send for his services. He'd probably make them a SB favorite if they had anything left to give up lol. And even then the Eagles beat the hell out of them in that game...they pushed them all over the field at the LOS so I don't see the Niners winning the NFC anytime soon unless they can match the lines of the Eagles and also have a decent QB.....I think Purdy comes back to earth, Lance bombs and is a bust and Garropolo is just above average.

Not familiar with the details but I thought the Pack signed him to a multi year deal? If they can’t move him he’s still on the team unless he retires, I doubt for all the hippy dippy bullshit he’s all about he’s gonna give up $50M in salary.

I tried to copy and paste the details but it's not working (ugh). Anyways it's in the last 2 paragraphs of that article. Would cost the Pack 9M additional if they trade him. The rest sounds like it gets picked up by the Jets.........isn't going to kill the Pack to let him go. All things considered they'd be better off if he hadn't flaked out and served out his contract but he turned out to be a flake. Weird dude. Jets are stupid to bring him in I think......2 years? They suck. They aren't going anywhere and Rodgers is not going to make a dent in that much. If they were a great QB away from competing for that division I'd say yeah but I don't see it. And Saleh has turned out to be just another great DC that bombed as a HC. I have no idea why so many teams hire great DC's expecting anything else. Not that many end up going to the top of the heap. Pete Carroll. Can't hardly think of many great DC's that went to the top as HC's . Dungy. I think they are the exception. For every Dungy there are 10 Buddy Ryans and Rex Ryans. Look at Staley, the weekend golfer pacing the sidelines lmfao.

I think his uncle is still part of the ownership group. They have a ton of cash

Then there is this. Which in the NFuckinigL would Guarantee a championship

In 2018, SEP (in partnership with Major League Baseball and the Seidler family) acquired Rawlings Sporting Goods Company Inc. Seidler currently sits on Major League Baseball’s Ownership Committee and Investment Committee.

Other teams let overrated players go or trade them.
More of genius of Telescope and the Spanni Twins.
For 2022 --Mack 8.0 sacks, Bosa 2.5

Read the comments also.
yeah the comments tell the real story, which the writer didn't address. lol Those all are great comments except one idiot chug homer. The moronic front office acts like they think they are a player away from being in the SB. They are far from it. The 2nd half of the Jag game was the true team and coaching staff. Rather than fire the hc....they fire the oc and bring in another loser who couldn't coach DAAAAAAAK. Then the comments about the edge rushers is spot on. They overpaid for them and now are backloading the contracts which come due right when they also have to pay up the so-called generational QB who is way overhyped just as pretty much every chug draft pick has ever been other than maybe L.A.T. and he turned out to be a bust when he pouted and injured his vagina when it mattered most. Go to the owner for the real problem and the sons who are handed jobs they don't deserve in any possible way. Chug news is like propaganda coming from a dictator....meant to keep the peons (chug fan base ......wait, is there even one???) continuuing to be subjugated and liking it. lmfao at this fucking POS team. EFF OFF DEAN, WITH A DILDO. :D

if I am herbie, I start at pat Mahomes contract as the opening to negotiations. Dan jones just got 4 years at a total of 160 million.

Ever notice the announcers pronounce it O'Dor.....
but there is not an Irish lad.......it's "Odor" .

and this relates to the NFL how???? only thing I can think of is we all know the NFL stinks. It matters not if it's O'dor, oDOR, or odor.......it stinks. And that guy hit a HR ok....but I can't get by the name....damn he should have changed it...what did the kids call him in school??? Maybe where he grew up no stigma....but here/??? He's gonna have to put up with 'skunk' on the forum. And no matter what , NFL still stinks. Dean is the smelliest of the stink and stench. He should have been sent to Carson with the refineries there....but his smell would have drowned all that out.....smellA continues on only worse because that smelly bastard showed up.

It is amazing at 28 years old the dude is washed up.
yeah, well he's only 2 years shy of the dreaded 30 yo mark where almost all RB's decline. That was when L.A.T. started tanking. A lot of RB's get injured , I remember way back reading the avg lifespan of an NFL RB is only like 4 years due to so many injuries....tough position. And they should receive salary commensurate with their short career. FUDEAN. Can't even pay Eckler lmfao. I hope Eckler ends up in DEN and kills it for Payton.

how were guys like smith, Payton and even sanders go so long being dominating? Sanders was still at the top when he retired. Now a dude only has 4 years of production and is toast.

Smith and Payton were physical freaks of nature who worked their asses off not only staying in shape but strengthening their bodies. Sanders and LAT were masters at making guys miss and getting out of bounds, they preserved their bodies. Guys who try to bruise their way thru don’t last.

yeah I think Fender nailed it on those guys that were able to last. And that 4 year figure is from an earlier era likely too....now there is access to much better training and surgeries etc. So I'm not sure that still applies to the avg RB.....figure they all start around age 22 then go to 30 before they hit the skids.....so it might be between 6-8 years now I don't know for sure. But they are probably the shortest lives players .....I can't think of another position where 30 is the upper limit for almost all. QB's are going to 40 pretty regularly nowdays....unless they get into concussion trouble. Or have a Theisman or Alex Smith fx.

Well I saw the Jets signed Lazard , one of Aaron Rodgers favorite targets and now Rodgers says he wants to play for the Jets in 2023. I think it's gonna be a done deal soon.

The holdup is compensation, the Pack is trying to rob the Jets but they have no leverage. Pack’s gonna have to accept whatever they are offered, it will be a disaster if the deal falls thru.
