I thought Kroenke was tied up or settled by him paying off St. Louis.
I can't see why other teams (who get the relocation fees charged) would allow the
Raiders or Chuggers to have a free pass.

This year's update..

wonder what became of it

Chuggers have largest negative operating income. Rank in at #23.
If they were still in SD, they'd probably be no. 21.

23. Los Angeles Chargers

Interesting discussion of how some teams pay their players and how the richer owners do. You know...some "owners" don't have a lot of liquid assets.

great find. Walton can pay lump sum up front which is really attractive to players as signing bonuses while most owners have to wait for league to issue checks for tv revenue and such to pay their players . Makes sense why rams get players to come there.

Chargers spent a ton this offseason. I wonder how those contracts are worded compared to rams?

I'd like to see Dean Spanos' name go up there.
After three weeks of great cheap publicity,
Jones could say, "We made a mistake on that one. It was suppose to be
Jimmy Dean's Sausages. And to tell 'ya the truth, I thought my best friend's name started with Jimmy. And I'm sure Spanos is Greek for sausages."

Do not use the word "Legacy" around this lying piece of sponge.

May 28, 2014

Roger Goodell:
"All persons associated with the NFL are required to avoid “conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in the National Football League.” This requirement applies to players, coaches, other team employees, owners, game officials and all others privileged to work in the National Football League.

For many years, it has been well understood that rules promoting lawful, ethical, and
responsible conduct serve the interests of the League, its players, and fans. Illegal or
irresponsible conduct does more than simply tarnish the offender. It puts innocent people at risk, sullies the reputation of others involved in the game, and undermines public respect and support for the NFL."

Goodell is paid to be a convincing liar.

Warren sapp on Colin’s workout

But former NFL star Warren Sapp tells a different story. Sapp said in an interview with Vlad TV he heard the workout was a "disaster."

"I heard one of the worst workouts ever. I’m wondering how the hell this happened and the tape didn’t get out, right? I mean, somebody wasn’t over the fence or nothing? Come on, man," Sapp said Tuesday.
