Not really. The trillions the Federal government is printing and dropping from helicopters is not a finite resource.
Last time I checked, ink and helicopters were NOT infinite resources!:D

Yet, another change of topic from you!

Dude, you were asked a question in jest -or at least I thought it was funny- by wrbanwal, who by all accounts is a "well-known member"!!
You answered with a completely irrelevant post bringing in trickle down and Bernie economies, to make a point while changing the subject...FINE!
I made a point that your economic parody can apply to life in general...
Once again you change the topic and now bring in the subject of government assistance during this pandemic!...
Now if I were to answer in a relevant manner to your retort, HOW FAR AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL QUESTION WOULD WE BE??

Here's ESPN's 'after draft power rankings'...It highlights the main beneficiary on each team from the draft...The LAC beneficiaries are Tevi and Pipkins!! :roflmao:

The article states, Chandler "Jones will be surrounded by players who can get to the quarterback, which will force offensive lines to decide who to double-team and who to leave one-on-one. will be surrounded by players who can get to the quarterback, which will force offensive lines to decide who to double-team and who to leave one-on-one."

Who to double team? Let's see. Maybe the guy who got 19 sacks last year and not some rookie or free agent nobody has heard of?

Yeah, I noticed that too...but I thought you'd like!

Chandler Jones IS a beast!...and your new team is going to be a sneaky good team for a while, before the rest of the nation wakes up to them!
They're in a tough Div. but they've played their own Div. tougher than anyone else...and now, with talent at the player level, and an innovative coaching staff; they can surprise the big dogs with a bite that matches the bark!

Then what? It's an infinite resource?
Pretty much. Around $25 trillion in debt currently that is backed by nothing but good faith. There’s an arbitrary debt ceiling but every time it’s hit congress raises it. Can’t see that changing.

The Dalton gangsters were definitely cowboys. Is there a backup QB named Sitting Bull the Chiefs can sign? How about a Henley for the Eagles? A Poe for the Ravens? An Underwear Stain for the Browns? An Altar Boy for the Cardinals?

You can't handle the "inconvenient truth"!...How bad are the JETS?

Who cares about the Jets? Frank Gore is a miracle man. He was drafted the same year we got Rivers and Merriman. He has been an NFL running back since 2005. Even Walter Payton would be impressed with that.

I don't understand how they can cut salary caps...Salary caps are meant to grow, not contract!
What would a $50M salary cap reduction next year mean for all the FA signings this year?!?

The headline says it increased to 198.2 from 188.2...

What am I missing?

You mean you want me to RTFM (Read the fracking manual)?!
In all fairness, Schefter is just talking about the hypothetical possibility of a salary cap reduction, since the cap is directly tied into revenue.

But.....IF it does come to pass, teams like NE or LAC that don't have tons invested in a "franchise" QB are at an advantage! NO?!

3.2 B potential loss of revenue to the league if they have to play without fans. So even though we've said they don't care about fans in the stands.....not necessarily so. Steven Ross cares...he's already trying to figure out how to play the games with 15000 fans in MIA. And agree HOF, if it ends up affecting the cap then teams w/o huge FA contracts for a franchise QB will have an advantage in dealing with it.

They are in one way, not so much in another. It depends on how the owner looks at the team.
Do they look at it like the Spani do: It is a cash cow, do the minimal to keep it working and playing games, winning is not important revenue is.
Do they look at it like Kraft: A losing season is unacceptable, do what ever it takes to make the team successful.

Not having a franchise QB can definitely reduce your contract footprint, but will not help you necessarily in the winning category...

You know, I'm getting far away from the original subject; but we often hear about the 'minimum' wage and the need for a raise to a' living' wage...No one ever talks about a salary cap in real life!...and what a 'maximum' wage would mean for the economy. I know the CEO of a Fortune 500 company has to be an outstanding individual, but is he better at his job than Aaron Rodgers is at his? How come there are CEOs that make over $100M a year, when their company's stocks underperform?
The owners have revenue sharing, and salary cap on labor...two practices that would make me and you a communist since we're not billionaires!

define billionaire LOL. agree they are way overcompensated in many if not most cases. Then there is the golden parachute if they ever lose their job. Yeah I think their salary oughta be performance based in large part.....sort of like the bonuses/incentives in NFL contracts. Plus at least the Buffets of the world are starting to realize they are overcompensated and should pay more taxes. It's really hard to wrap your head around what they make.....Bezos, Gates etc etc. I mean Gates gives away half which is great. But then you think half of 100B is still 50B. How many billions does one need......I cannot imagine what that would feel like. Bezos seems like the miserly guy of the bunch....making his workers protest for PPE's. WTF. Maybe Bezos is hoarding toilet paper and masks at his house LOL.

HOF, your reasoning will so bring out the anti socialism, they so much smarter than us that’s why, I could be a billionaire, too club.

George Carlin:
“Conservatives say if you don't give the rich more money, they will lose their incentive to invest.
As for the poor, they tell us they've lost all incentive because we've given them too much money.”
