Jamal Williams was one of the greatest NFL linemen whom few people ever heard of. Merriman and the Other Guy got a lot of credit for that defense that got us to 14-3, but those guys were role players. Jamal was the real star. He seemed to take out entire offensive lines by himself. As soon as he got old, the careers of Merriman and Phillips nosedived into nothingness. And our great run defense turned into absolute garbage that never recovered. Why? Because Williams was an entire defensive line. You can't tackle runningbacks or sack QBs without a line.

I think you might be saying Gaither was the Jamal Williams of all the great Charger O-lines.

He turned down 10M per year . Here’s a bet. As a free agent, he won’t get a nickel more and probably less.

My guess is that the million is artificially inflated and has clauses that benefits the chargers.

It’s easy to throw a 10 mil a year number.

The big question is how much is guaranteed?

things are setting up nicely for the fudeans. the Raiders are a mess, the donks are a mess. Pitt is a mess. Chi, GB, and the Chiefs seem like the only teams they need to get up for

I doubt the NFL will let the Spanoses past the wildcard round. There is zero chance the team gets a home playoff game.

It does take a degree of caring to hate. Nobody hates harder than disgruntled fans from San Diego. Ask Kevin Brown and Eli Manning. Eli, despite some incredible efforts on our part, was too strong for us to crush; but I am pretty sure we contributed to Brown's downfall. As far as the Spanoses go: so far, they aren't making it. How long will the NFL put up with these money losers?

In all fairness. I think the Spani are able to sink themselves nicely without much help from SD. But help away, put out their dumpster fire with gasoline!

This year Your Bolts will be in the mix with a lot of teams,
Pitt, Browns, Raven, Titans, hell even the Jaguars. About two excellent teams in the AFC, maybe three or four in the NFC.
Four teams from AFC, no chance. That leaves 12 for 6 slots. Patriots and Chiefs will have two, so that 10 for 4 spots.
8 teams now at 2-2. My picks, Division Patriots, Ravens, Texans, Chiefs. WC Colts and Browns.

If those are the options, here is the order the NFL will aim for.
1. The Bradys
2. Cleveland Oranges
3. Squeelers
4. Cravens
5. Chefs
6. Dolts
7. Spanoses
8. Oilers
9. McJaguars

It seems like every team outside of Detroit and the Bidwells makes the playoffs nowadays, but, somehow, the Los Angeles Spanoses won't have a home playoff game ever.

Now that makes sense.
yeah not sure why the hell Bud Adams (is that who took it to TN?) would deny them the rights to the name. Stupid. What the hell is he gonna do with it? What the hell does "Oilers" have to do with TN other than maybe they lube themselves up to take it up the rear lolz.

The Oilers might be the only team able to handle the Packers.

Ekeler topped 100 yards in both rushing and receiving against Jacksonville in a 45-10 victory.

He's also a RFA in 2020 - SHOW ME THE MONEY!
SHOW HIM THE MINIMUM!

Plus, right now, if Rivers wants to play for the Chargers next year, demand $35 million, fulky guaranteed, one year deal.
If he does not seek employment on a better, different team he is not a very bright player. And his agent should be banned.

Amid disappointing season for Chargers, Joey Bosa still playing at elite level

https://www.espn.com/blog/los-angel...argers-joey-bosa-still-playing-at-elite-level

Show me the money....

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Gus Bradley remembers one of the first conversations he had with defensive end Joey Bosa when the team selected him No. 3 overall in the 2016 draft.

Bradley was well aware of the immense talent the Ohio State product possessed, but what caught him off guard was Bosa's willingness to improve in the mental aspect of the game.
Why aren't they called the Costa Mesa fudean's???

I hope Johnny takes note. Pigeon toed guys are ridiculous

Bosa is the AFC's leading vote-getter at defensive end for the Pro Bowl. Tight end Virgil Green pointed to something else that he believes gives Bosa an advantage: He's pigeon-toed.

"Every pigeon-toed guy who I've met, who I've ever seen play football has been a great athlete," Green joked. "Ed Reed, Joey -- we had a guy when I was in college [at Nevada] who was a defensive end and was just crazy. Those pigeon-toed guys are just ridiculous."

Yeah, and pigeons fly away, especially if the owner is a ridiculous fuckup and gives the pigeon no good reason to return

He's half a sack back of Aaron Donald in 8th place. Aaron makes $22.5 million a year,
had a $40 million guaranted signing bonus.
Chuggers will ask Bosa to play under the $15.5 million option year number.
Of course, I could be wrong..

Hopefully Bosa says "No way, Deano."
I think it's a foregone conclusion. We'll see , maybe he's even dumber than he looks. If he has any sense for his own value and career legacy he'll get out as soon as he can and go to where the media will be all over him and his team will get to the playoffs and SB on a semi-regular basis and he'll actually wear rings and get bigtime endorsements. NY is best. But there are many other places like GB, SEA, SF, NE, Rams, NO, KC, DEN, somewhere where there is at least a tradition or history of having won something and where the owner isn't viewed by the nation as a crock of schit. He'll never have the hometown crowd and support of those other cities. That is what makes a player stand out....the hometown going bonkers...the 12th man cheering the D so loud it almost rumbles the stadium down. NEVER gonna happen in LA. Not even sure the Rams will ever achieve that. There will be too many visiting fans or otherwise apathetic zombie fans in LA.

In phonetic Mexican slang, that is, "No Deano, Way!"

Sorry if that is only funny to me. I left Mexico more than a decade ago and still call everybody "guey." Guey, pronounced something like way, is a four-letter insult but generally used among friends to mean dude or homey. Deano is a term in English meaning worthless cunt, and it is only used as the worst kind of insult.
