2016 Fantasy Football

Well 3 for 3 and 3 third place finishes.

I'm at it more insanely early than last year when I had 2 leagues the first of which I joined in may and forgot to draft. BUT I did get KA until his very unfortunate injury ended his claim on sole possession of most catches in a game.

I'll be doin my next too early draft as soon as yahoo opens up the season. Which is may 25th.

So being I'm goin very overboard on FF this year I even have been running in mock FF drafts. (Oddly enough my increased interest in FF comes at a time when my interest in the NFL is at a all time low)

I'll be playing in 12 teams flex ppr. And probably 2 leagues one in may and then the Sept one with local peeps. I could be tempted to get in on another Charger fan only league late in the season so long as it's flex ppr. Could try a dynasty setup jus don't cut the flex.

A note about the bubbles I'm bumping a few players up for personal belief and also to snag a few before the run on a position starts. Also helps to kno where a draft is goin round to round as far as #1 position players.

Ok so I got team names for days this year.

I jus spent 3 minutes on team names and came up with enuff to share.

Haven't decided if I'll keep my team name from last year: Flowers4urFuneral or use a new one but this year could be the year for that team name.

I went with flowers for being a recent sore spot to my local kc supporting fanbase but we all know how invisible Brandon was last year.

I've dropped Sanu and Sproles for Minnesota D and kicker.

The D more because on moron in our league didn't draft a K or D lol.

I could still end up streaming kickers but I wa more concerned with getting 2 of the top 10 WRs.

Derek Henry is my shot at surprise player like cooper and Gurley were for me last year.

Woodhead was a accident when I ran out of time to pick and he was top of my list. I can't remember who I was goin back and forth on but owell ppr magnet secured.

Yea I got laughed at for takin Rivers in the 6th, but at that spot it was gates or rivers so I got my qb.

And gates was value after I missed out on the top 10 TEs.

Missed the D wagon too but screw it D is another possible stream option.

Hey ThunderHorse17. Noticed there wasn't a lot of traffic on this thread so I decided to say hello.

I've been playing Fantasy Football since '03 and its great. I'm Commissioner of my 10-team 0.5PPR team and its monster 26-man roster per team. Its a high scoring double everything IDP clusterf*** and I love it that way lol.

How did your Week 1 go? I won my game. Just missed the top score for the week by about 8 points (which is not much in my league's scoring system).

I'm Commissioner of my custom Yahoo League (this season is our 10-year anniversary) and I've been playing random NFL.com leagues for the last 3-4 years or so. I just had a draft this morning that I totally slept through, which is okay because I wanted to see what an autodraft would get me. It wasn't complete s*** so that's good! The bad news is my team is tainted with Deflatormouse Tom Brady. Ah well, going to pick up Matt Ryan for a few weeks lol.

I'm 2-0 in my Yahoo League right now.

Just traded Jamal for crowell.

Tryed to get Fozzy in replacement for woodhead, but 10th place grabbed him.

I picked up vereen cuz I don't want anything to do with Min RBs.

Just read Atl backfield the worst timeshare currently but I think it's the Vikings.

Ugh I feel ya. I thought our Chargers would go with their seasoned WR and go Inman over both of them so I picked up Williams earlier in the week then dropped him for Inman. Bad mistake. I still beat my League nemesis pretty hard this week though so I'm happy about that lol.

What do you use for player injury alerts? I found an app that I'm using this season that gives me instant updates on injuries and its made me the best waiver wire shark in the league so far.

Also my Yahoo League is a 2QB league (with double everything and a 7-man IDP) but I'm happy I picked up Tannehill as my backup. Turns out he has 2 cushy games when both of my starters (Rivers and Luck) are on their bye weeks. I'm happy about that.

I use the inet and yahoo for updates. Works well enuff.

I got sniped for Fozzy cuz of wire priority. It's not a surprise my competitors went thru all the RB hits this week and not a one picked up McKinnon or Asiata.

But Fozzy got the first call among handcuffs. Go figure.

Huh lookin back at my draft and my roster has gone through a major overhaul.

Of my 10-15 picks all I still have on the roster is pit D. And Jamal gone for Crowell. I kno it's prob a loss of ppw avg, but I need RB production this week. Also I kno kc fans and I kno kc chefs, Jamal finishes the season with jus shy of 1k all purpose yds. Ware and West IMO the AFC equivalent of the Vikings backfield. So I bet I get more out of Clevelands RB than JC does in the timeshare.

Guy at work had to throw out the factoid about the player with the highest yard per rush avg for careers... JC rocking a 6.5 or someting. So I could end up losing out on the trade but he'll at 0-2 my season could be over already.

Well 6 weeks in and 4 L's.

Lucky me for week 7 my opp has to deal with no big ben. He's got Brown too so maybe his production takes a hit too.

Picked up Vinatieri a few weeks back so got my K for now.

Only real Q I have for this week is Rivers or Ryan. The projections have Ryan over Rivers but I think our D is a unknown to the masses and it'd closer to a toss up.

I have to ask, is there a sweeter victory than when a Raiturd coming up short can potentially help you deliver an epic playoff win?

I snuck into the playoffs of my big money league with a team that had been decimated by injuries (lost my 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th round picks to season ending injuries in a 14-team league with only 3 bench spots). And now as the worst seed, I've drawn the regular season champion who just had Derek Carr drop a literal deuce on him (putting up a whopping 2 points when he was projected for 12). Fingers crossed. I win this week and I just need to win once in the next two to cash and if it comes in the semis then I'm going to cash for at least $1K.
